First arrives is an explorer, then a traveller, then elite tourist, then travel journalist, then a business interest, then airport, then mass tourism, then destruction of environment, charm, and either destruction or the place turns into a pastich of itself.

I haven't been to Bali but I have been to Labuan Bajo, another tourist spot in Flores, Indonesia. 90% of the tourists were obnoxious, self-centered drunkards who had zero respect for the locals' hometown. These people see anywhere they go as their own personal resort. Anywhere you go, YOU'RE A GUEST. Behave like one.

Ignorant tourists who damage ancient ruins and sites should be immediately fined thousands of dollars and banned from ever visiting the place again. There should also be guards constantly patrolling the area to make sure no damage has been done to the remains. The amount of tourists entering the place at a time should also be heavily restricted.

Turkey should also be careful about this, the number of tourists is increasing very quickly, it is over 40 millions for this year and it is already considered as a new record, the best thing to do is try to attract tourist in other parts of Turkey not only the south ( Bodrum/Antalya) and Istanbul.

Like everything .At the moment you are lowering the cost then more and more people have access to it then the quality drops . In the 80’s an economy ticket to cross the Atlantic (i.e a Paris-NYC) was 5000 French Francs and the minimum wage in France was 2500 FF . Minimum wage is now 1300 € so the equivalent of 2600€ (a little bit less than 3000$) . Some countries who would have had decided to go for high end resort would not have had those issues. The positive thing is that some countries are now trying to go this way.

This video was made 5 years ago..By now Venice has no longer 60.000 inhabitants (true real citizens or 'cittadini') but has sored to less then 50.000. And guess why: people moving away because they are tired of the herds of tourists and noise. They don't feel 'at home' anymore. Also: too many houses not being available anymore for housing, because they are put out for touristrental on bnb, or otherwise. A very lucrative business for the owner(s) off course..🤔😔 Having lived in Amsterdam for a long time, I have seen the sometimes devastating effect of mass tourism on the city.

Why travelling the miles?) ✅ Be super loud at the trains because who cares for the local workers who use the train ride as a a way to relax? ✅ Get up at 5am only to reserve 10 lies with 1 or 2 towels at a small swimming pool that you're going to use at 3 pm only. ✅ Mess up the buffet at the breakfast by putting more things on your plate than you can eat. ✅ Make tons of photos for your tiktok and instagram at overrated places.. so that everyone can see what douchebag you are. ✅ travel bag home and experience the same amount of stress as you came. Instead of relaxed regenerated you feel tired, sick and frustrated and paid money for it.. Well done!

Tourists travelling by plane to get to these places may be paying for chemtrails sprayed from planes. Look up chemtrails - or better still, watch skies daily. Be aware of what is going on.

Solutions to solve the problem of mass tourism: 1) Ban alcohol 2) Ban prostitution 3) Ban Drugs 4) Introduce dress code (preferably Islamic) 5) Ban homosexuality 6) Ban unmarried couples 7) Put a cap on number of tourists These measures will seriously reduce the number of tourists visiting these cities. It will automatically reduce housing prices, pollution of all kinds, damage to the cities etc.
