How many hobbies can you have?
KZread shorts are limited to 60 seconds so when I finish with some of my longer animated stories I have to cut out some of the shots to make it fit. This one needed over 20 seconds of animation cut and I thought it lost some of the friendship between the two characters so here’s the original full animated story as a “regular” KZread video! What do you think? Should I make more of these animations in the future? Maybe even longer still?

My room is a lot like this as well. I have all sorts of supplies for various projects, but little that's actually done. I bounce from project to project. I got most of these supplies before I was diagnosed with ADHD, and even after medication I still rarely stick with one project all the way to the end. However now that I physically can focus, I have gone back and finished several. Right now I have a bucket list of unfinished projects to work on, but in my heart I know I'll never get it all done, especially because I still have the tendency to start new projects on a whim and then leave them untouched for months or years.
ngl this alleviated some of the guilt i have over my unfinished projects.

YEs! My art room/ studio is full of everything. I do a fair bit of artwork! I even started a utube art channel. Not this one. After a car accident I can only paint or draw in small timed increments so I make time but I still procrastinate. I realise now that like most people I took my skills for granted and now I wish I had of done more art but it’s all good. I got to play in a semi successful band and worked at Disney and Hanna Barbera as a cel painter. I’m on disability now but hey, I’m happy and grateful to be alive and able to walk after a severe neck injury. Please all who do art and craft, make time for it, as you never know what’s around the corner. Life’s too short. Love this comic and love to all ❤🥰✨

Having a hobby room is good when they eventually had kids. A room dedicated to finding out what is interesting. With proper guidance and practice they'll be able to achieve some progress and eventually settle or find a different hobby they think will suit them; granted they see inspiration from their parents using/having a hobby(ies)

I love longer form videos. If you choose to do more of them (on purpose, instead of just having a script run a bit longer than shorts allows) you should make them in widescreen.
This would be me if I had money
no scuba diving, to do it all underwater?
Hahahah! YES! I do Zentangle drawing. I have a fairly ridiculous number of pens and other materials at this point. Fortunately my book collection has gone mostly to audiobooks, which take up no physical space. It has been very difficult to let go of the physical books though, even though I really don’t have much room for them anymore. And then there is my ex, who used to start new hobbies every two years or so. Photography, fountain pens, computer equipment, historical costuming …. I recognize the Hobby Room, for sure! 😂
Wise words here. Don't judge a hobby by the number of finished projects.
Too true haha! I keep starting new digital art drawings/ 3d modeling and switching between which ones I’m working on. I also have a bunch of other things I’m learning about/ have projects for lol but it’s nice to have different options & has been interesting to learn about them!
Then, there's me who collects empty boxes and containers. Basically, a hoarder for boxes.
I have met so many people like this. Part of it is how narrowly we define "hobby" (just as "hobby" has grown to mean "anything you do that's not for money"). I sew, knit, crochet, embroider, tat, rug hook, needlepoint, and bead, but it's all towards clothing or household items, and it's better described under the general term "needlework", not least because of the overlap in tools and materials. I find people who make researching the hobby into the hobby tend not to think about the end goal of creating things. They just like the acquisition part. Which I guess is fine if they eventually have a good garage sale 😊
I like to crochet. It's a multi-dimensional hobby. There is the hobby of purchasing the yarns. Then there's the assessories. Next, you have to have patterns. And on Pinterest, I have all the saved crocheted products I want to make. Which brings me to the final hobby of crocheting as a hobby: organizing each of the former mentioned hobbies. 🤭
I was shifting uncomfortably feeling watched until the end. Love the positive ending!
How did you just sum up my life like that? Amazing. ❤
A symptom of having so many interests to explore, but so much of my time being consumed by work or recovering from work. And also not enough leftover energy to put into the single project for the entire run.
None of my partners have ever understood me on this level. That was one very satisfying minute.
Perfectly describes my other half. I love it. Thank you, thank you. 🎉
I love this, it's like i have permission to do all the things.😊 i am uncluttering my desk, because i want to use it now.. like this week. I have many interests and many supplies. 💖
Honestly I kinda wish I was him, at least he's learning how to do things that he wants to do♡ 😅

I kinda relate to this - I got into a phase where I thought repairing old electronics was cool, and I opened up my old DS Lite I don't use anymore to fix some button contacts - that was it, that's all that came of that. Another time I got into retro console modding and made a nice Wii setup with a handful of mods on it - used that Wii to play one game after, and it is now in my closet. Taught myself how to draw with the help of the internet, practiced for a few months before I started to actually be happy with how the drawings turned out, and I rarely ever draw anymore. Etcetera, etcetera. Basically the only individual hobbies I come back to consistently are video games, books, and music.
For some reason this is the exact voice I had for them in my head.
The figurine painting and the sewing got me. I recently gone back to rollerblading with a group I found online, also been kinda neglecting my gym...ugh
haha, same. 😁 thanks!

Y’all are lucky to have a room, mine is a sterile organized closet that makes it difficult to idolly work on things. Can’t pull the craft bucket out for crafts when I don’t have a place for crafts in the first place. My mother means well even if she’ll never understand. She is happier there isn’t always some sort of mess out in the dining room though. The house I’m designing has a craft room with plenty of windows tho, can’t wait for that.
That last question felt personal, lol 😆
This hits a little close to home. Now where’s that crochet hook? I was sure it was behind the drum kit…
