Just a thought: with black yarn, crochet the corners shut. About an 1/2" or so from the strap. Then center the zipper, tucking the ends under where you added the 1/2" section of crochet. Love your vlogs by the way. 😊

Kelsie, your zipper was perfect! With these types of bags, the zipper doesnt go all the way to the end. All you needed to do was sew the ends of the granny squares together (the little bit where the gap was, and maybe a bit more so that the squares overlap the zipper a bit). I was silently screaming when I saw you take out the perfect zipper with perfect stitches

I also love the weird fluffiness of the loops, it makes me wanna try the pattern with some kind wearable, it would make such a cute layer skirt or something. I love crocheting bags. Ihave done several granny square bags. I like to line my straps with ribbon so they don't stretch out over time. I have also lined some with fabric and added internal pockets. The ones you made are beautiful. Nice work!
