If anyone says your work is too expensive, they are not your target audience. Speaking as an illustrator, trust me, no matter what you price your work at, people will complain. (I've seen artists charge 1$ for a finished piece, and people still complain. It's ridiculous.) Please charge your worth, and the right people will come to support you. These are original, handmade, one of a kind, high quality products. You deserve to be paid properly for it.

Definitely don't think that cross body was too expensive!! When you take the time to hand stitch on a zipper like you did, that adds so much extra value!! I think it was rightly priced!!! Don't ever feel you're charging too much!! Someone who loves it will never think it's too much, some will think you don't charge enough!!! Everything you make is awesome and priced how you think they should be not how someone else wants it to be!!

Hi Kelsie you have to remember that you are providing a luxury product to the market and no one can tell you that it’s too expensive. If it’s not for their budget then they just shouldn’t buy it. Not everyone can crochet like you and you are giving out your talent to the world. Other people should respect it.

Imo she's way undercharging even for some items (like the scrunchies, omg that's so much work for $4 each) and even if one item sells a little higher than typical, it'll even out for her more as a business. Plus, at the end of the day there are people willing to buy it (since they sell out immediately), it's clearly not too high.

@@hicat808 agreed! Her demand is going up so much because of her growing social media and KZread. Her higher prices might keep some things in stock longer but that is both a blessing and a curse. Especially with her 2024 goal being of making more stock.

People don’t appreciate the amount of work and expertise that goes into a hand made product. Not to even mention the time! Don’t undersell yourself. ❤

I was actually the person who bought the crossbody bag! I couldn’t believe it was still available since usually things are sold out by the time I see it, but since you posted them in conjunction with the video I was able to snag it 🩷 I recently started learning crochet, so I’m no where near making anything of that quality/standard yet 😂 Your items are definitely worth every penny, with the amount of time, effort, and attention to detail, some people just don’t give enough value to handmade items sadly. Personally, I am excited for it to arrive and can’t wait to use it 🫶

My hack for tying tight Knots, I use a small pair of needle nose pliers to pull the end off the stand tighter (helps so much when I do magic knots) and it saves your fingers

You can save your fingers by using small pliers to grip the yarn to pull the knot tight.

Great Harry Potter colors! I agree with all the comments about proper compensation for items rendered. It's a sticky wicket. (I wonder if Harry had the same problem during a game of Quidditch) Not to make light of it all, it is an issue at times, not sure if there is an answer other than, do what you feel is the right thing to do, for you.
