Opening statements began in the trial of the so-called doomsday mom, Lori Vallow, who stands accused of the homicide of two of her children in 2019 because she allegedly believed they were possessed and became zombies. Vallow Daybell is accused of ending the life of her two youngest children, Tylee Ryan and Joshua Jaxon "JJ" Vallow. Tylee was nearly 17 when she and JJ, 7, were last seen alive in September 2019. The children's bodies were found in June 2020, buried on property in Rexburg, Idaho, owned by Chad Daybell. She is also charged with the homicide of her husband in a separate case.
In this video, you'll be able to watch EXTREAM REACTION to Interrogation from 'DOOMSDAY MOM' Lori Vallow Daybell.

Two things stood out to me in the rewatching of this video: 1. She’s so resentful of Charles’ affection toward JJ. What kind of mother doesn’t love that her husband loves her kid? She reframed it as something bad! 2. The threats from Charles that she wouldn’t specify made her look bad. He was threatening to expose her affair to her side dude’s wife and the church. That’s why she didn’t want to get into it!

Even if you’re separated or getting divorced, you’ll be traumatised and emotional if he died. Not only died but your own brother did it. I cry when people I barely know die, whether I like them or not. Her behaviour clearly shows a psychopath with no emotion who showed complete indifference to the death of her husband. She’s not just guilty of premeditating this, but that she’s capable of murdering her own children and feeling nothing.

From this interview, my assessment is Lori is childish, immature and still “living” in high school in her head. Total loyalty and admiration seems to be one of her key requirements to be in her life. Anyone who says something or treats her in a way that breaks that facade will suffer, even her children. She blanked Melanie Gibb the minute she left the choir. She cut off everyone who didn’t sing on her page of Goddess, Supergirl, Cheerleader, Beauty Queen, Game Show contestant, Apple of Daddy’s Eye. Her posture usually screams “look at me I’m wonderful” but here, she doesn’t want anyone looking at her too closely - UNTIL she saw that tiny vulnerability in the detective. It immediately gives her confirmation that she can be back in control and relax. It is so so important to her and it began with Mom and Dad. Doesn’t excuse murder but shows how desperate she became in middle age, almost 50 and with her and Charles almost broke at the time, she needed Mr Next for financial support and status within the LDS Church. Images are deceiving. Just my Opinion but I love all of your take on her baseline changes and how dedicated to deception she needed to be at this moment. The best show for understanding the information we all give away all the time.

The segment about how the interviewer expressed discomfort and then cult mom got happy made me shiver. I was taking business classes and once I had to leave class because of a panic attack. When I apologized later to the lecturer that I have PTSD, her face suddenly lit up with a huge smile and she declared with glee "That's what I do, I help people!" Her abject joy at my discomfort had me so taken aback that I avoided her for the rest of the semester, she was a terrible teacher anyway; but yikes. Never in the twenty years that I had PTSD did anyone ever express glee at my condition.

Who else thinks that LORI was the one to somehow introduce the bat, *knowing* that her husband's history as an athlete would make him seem more threatening when holding a baseball bat!! I'm guessing that if Lori didn't get the bat herself, she coerced poor Tylee to get it!

Exactly. Killed or attempted to have killed a whole van-load of people. If someone has just awakened from a five-year coma, they would be so misled by watching this. No compliments are due to the interviewer or the cops, since Lori and Alex BOTH walked away from Charles' murder. If Lori would have had the sense to send JJ to his grandparents instead of a shallow grave in Chad's back yard, they might very well have gotten away with all of it.

I'm writing to say that although it's just a phone call -- without body language to analyze -- I would simply love to hear a quick analysis of the recent phone call between Lori and her sister Summer that just played at the trial. Why? Because it is a treasure trove of Scott's oft repeated psychopath descriptions. Most amazing is after a phone call where the only responses she can summon while her poor shattered sister wails with grief are "BABY VOICE, BOREDOM & IRRITATION," she suddenly pivots and you can CLEARLY hear her attempt to MIMIC HER SISTER'S SORROW!!! But it's bizarre and flat and frankly TERRIFYING! Thank you for all your work! You're my favorite channel on KZread!

Lori took Charles' phone and took off with it in the kitchen, making him follow her around the kitchen to get it back. This allowed Alex to tackle him, ostensibly "protecting" Lori. It infuriates me that none of the police at the scene or the detective ask Lori 1) why did she take the phone in the first place (remember, she says she kept it because he wanted it back and was mad, so she wanted to see if there was something on there "he didn't want her to see") and 2) why didn't she give the phone back or at least drop it if she was afraid of Charles doing something to her. Sadly she and Alex got away with the crime at the time, and the children were the unwitting pawns of their mother.

Well yeah, because threats are not usually random and assorted. The threatener has a specific bee in their bonnet. Like money, or custody, or jealousy. That was an obvious one for the interviewer to follow up, and she didn't. Her whole demeanour is of someone just going through the motions to satisfy procedure. They really should have reeled them all in again the next day for more questions, and looked up Charles's history in the meantime. I wonder how many other crimes go undetected by them?

Given all the documented arrogance she's shown to her friends and family about her "spiritual" superiority, playing the innocent bystander here oozes that psychopath vibe. One can only imagine the meeting among the involved parties that decided killing the kids was a viable plan. Did Chad's kids ever think they were next?

I was listening to a podcast with an ex-member of Avow who initially thought Chad was genuine. She knew Tammy and the children and said that both Tammy and the five children had been declared zombies (although they didn't know that). With all the other spousal and child deaths and evidence that other members "loved ones" were also potential targets, I think Tammy's children may well have been fair game, if they started disbelieving their fathers' line of BS after her death.

Tylee's dad Joseph Ryan also died of a " heart attack" due to "natural causes". At some time prior to that , Alex Cox (Lori's brother) had attacked Mr. Ryan with a stun gun directly to the heart. Mr Ryan's sister has been wanting his death re-investigated for years now. Lori had also claimed that he had committed SA on Tylee during the very contentious divorce, absolutely no evidence of this was ever found. There is an interesting YT video interview with Mr. Ryan's former lawyer. Given that so many people around Lori and Alex died of "heart attacks" that looked naturally caused, it wouldn't be far-fetched to imagine that perhaps Alex discovered a means to induce them with something that would ordinarily go undetected. Such means are possible.

The hardest body language analyst would be Laticia Strock. She only allows one interview with her back to the camera, does a video talking to her stepson who has been burned by a candle fire, without being in the frame. There are interrogation videos, but they aren't good quality videos, and her actions in the courtroom during the trial. There are a lot of long audios of her phone calls to, her then husband, recorded by the FBI. Where she screeches every time he questions her ever changing stories. They are long videos, but I watch every day of the proceedings.
