Do they sit on the egg during night..? I'm asking since two decided to build a nest in our building lobby, on the carpet..!😅 I did provide a box, helped do nest & yesterday, one egg.. ..but.. ..i feel they've another nest cos they keep leaving at nightfall; i did help incubate egg lastnight, she's back at sunrise sitting on it as i ask this needed knowledge.. I'm at a loss to why build where people are usually walking pass.. ..2nd question, do they have two nests..

Today i found 2 eggs and qant to know how do incubate them and how do i tell the age of the the egg 1 can see a little of vains and the other i can see a little bit of vains but the other half looks back and i had to get the nest off my aircon cause it was about to be pulled apart so i didn't know what to do so i took them inside with me

Hey, we have an article here on incubating: pigeonpedia.com/pigeon-egg-incubators/ In terms of telling how old the egg is the bigger the ball in the middle of the egg the older it is...hard to say exactly but if you can only see a few veins and a small central ball then it may be very young.

My pair are now incubate their 2nd eggs i think it's nineth day now i'm waiting for more days to come but they lost their first eggs when they were incubate ...i now i have a question for you sir so my pageon lost their first eggs why..?please reply

Hard to say, there are many reasons why they could've lost them but it's not uncommon so dont worry, hopefully this next pair will be fine, let us know what happens!

Hello, can any one tell me does a pigeon egg hatch exactly after 18 days actually my pigeon laid 2 eggs, the one egg is moving making kinda noise but the other is quite and not moving, so my question is do every egg take 18 Days to hatch or some eggs take more than 18 days

Hey Amil, we have an article on that here: pigeonpedia.com/how-to-take-care-of-a-baby-pigeon/ Basically you need to feed them crop milk (like their parents give them), you can buy hatchling hand rearing formula products at pet supply stores. You can use this to mimic the crop milk that a parent pigeon might feed its baby. All the best,

A newly hatched pigeon baby drink it's mom's crop milk for 5 or 10 days so no need to feed it anything

A wild pigeon nested and layed two eggs in the last days on the mud of a chillies plant pot outside my balcony. It made me cry after that last year 3 pigeons came to rip in the same balcony and one pigeon head just fell from the sky q.q

@@pigeonpedia4856 The eggs hatched around 22 days after I first saw them and then the mother regularly came around to take care of them and to hatch on top of them. I saw them learn how to flap their wings on my balcony through the window. I was so proud once they left. It was funny in the end because they ended up joining the rest of the pigeons who just chill on the rooftops around here lol
