@Arene Armstead dude Lebron averaged an inefficient 20 points and 6 assists in his rookie season he wasn't even an allstar so how do you compare him with Magic Johnson? And yes Melo deserved the Roy over Lebron he led his team from the lottery to the playoffs while LeBron didnt make the playoffs. He averaged more points in less minutes on a better ts%. And he had more rebounds and about the same amount of steals and blocks and he played more games. I can understand that they gave the roy to LeBron because of the hype around him and because he was only 18 but Carmelos rookie season was better than LeBrons. Bts Magic won finals MVP in his rookie season, please stop comparing 18 year old LeBron to prime Magic that's just disprespectful

@Arene Armstead just stop it its disprespectful to compare 18 year old LeBron to prime Magic. Later im his career LeBron became better than Magic ever was but its normal that a rookie isnt as good as the best point guard of all time. Melo brought his team from 17 wins and the last seed in the west to 43 wins and the 8th seed. LeBron brought his team from 17 wins to 35 (9th seed in the weaker conference). You obviously dont even know what you are talking about. Of course LeBron is better than Melo, but LeBron really started to stand out in his sophomore and third season. Just watch a yt video about this topic and you will see what I mean. And please stop comparing rookie LeBron to a top 5 player of all time in his prime.

@Arene Armstead you ask how many rookies came in be handed the keys and run the show? Magic won finals mvp in his rookie season. He averaged 22, 11 and 9 in the finals against the 76ers. In game 6, when Kareem didnt play, he single handedly overtook the game playing as center. He dropped 42, 15 rebounds, 7 assists, 3 steals, 1 block. This rookie could handle the keys he was handed.

Always appreciated how Coach Nick keeps it real. This video is showing LeBron's excellence but also doesn't shy away from the BS calls like what the refs called on Morris late on the game which helped shift it into LA's favor. Not the deciding factor in the loss by any means, but a blow in momentum for the Clippers

The Lakers were literally the best team, and LeBron the best player, before the pandemic, and during the playoffs that year. LeBron might have won MVP at the rate he was going if the pandemic didn't screw things up. But they never got to enjoy homecourt advantage, and were out a crucial player in Avery Bradley during the playoffs, unlike all the other teams who were completely healthy, or if not, were not out an important player in their rotation. And they said the 2020 championship doesn't count smh 🤦‍♂️

Anthony Davis carried the lakers in both of those games and should be in MVP consideration. Lebron made a total of 5 shots outside the key in those 2 games. Lebron will make a couple sportscenter plays that is being used to push a narrative. Anthony Davis is killing it this year. Leading the Lakers in scoring and defense. he also helps space the floor tremendously. If the media doesnt start appreciating Anthony Davis a little more they might run him out of LA this offseason.

He is analyzing really good games. Those were competitive sure but they don't mean much when it comes to playoffs. Now that it's closer it means a bit more. Plus the Lakers are the favorites for the title so you are going to be getting more clicks if you post about them. This video is more about Lebron's take over rather than the teams. He didn't guard them before unless they switched. Now he is straight up guarding some of the best offensive players to exist.
