Bro I knew that was going to be the case. I worked for a mom and Pop Pizza shop that had attracted a celebrity back in 2005. He tipped everyone in the store 1000$ because his entourage took up everyone's time for the duration of the day. At the end of the night the owner kept all the money claiming he pays us per hour when we decided to sue him he fired all of us then on top of that. When the court ordered he must pay us the money we are owed he only pays the minimum amount required which means it will take me almost 20 years to get the full amount making it a hassle to pursue it. For what it's worth he got robbed 3 times and forced to close by the city. Karma.

I am from a small town so $40 for a haircut seems too expensive for me, but like Atozy and Keith stated it would have been good business for the food truck. Naturally unless they otherwise stated ( which it sounds like they didn't) you would assume they were all part of the same business, money wise it is the mothers fault, but business wise I would also say the barber was at fault because within that 5 minute introduction to Keith if he was there to promote his business he should have had a few business cards on hand which would have shown he was not affiliated with the restaurant, because now you might have people coming days later expecting to be able to get a haircut while waiting for their food or vice versa. Also have to love how their stories don't match up with their actions. They knew Keith was in Dallas, so they showed up to the food truck to cut hair. Had Keith not shown up that day were they just going to keep showing up to the food truck until Keith either showed up or get word he already left Dallas lol.

@@TheCommanderTacoWho told you that? The owner of the restaurant or her son. That's _not exactly_ how it went down. The barber was the brother of a friend of the owner of the restaurant's son. True, the owner of the restaurant heard Keith was in town and _might possibly_ come to their restaurant since it was on social media that he was in Dallas that day. The owner's son called his friend to help him make some t shirts because the friend had a shirt printer. The owner also requested the friend to help out once Keith did come and bring other people to help out, so it looked like an event. Again, no one knew before that day that Keith was even in their city. So, there is not a lot of time to prepare, which is why the owner reached out for help. The barber didn't know all this was going to go down. He was just asked to help out by his sister. As it turned out, no amount of business cards could've equaled the advertising on social media that he's received due to the controversy. This is all on TikTok. The sister/friend who got ripped off (by her supposed friend she was helping out) has a fairly big following as well.

there's so much video of where the money was supposed to go, how the fuck is he trying to act like it's not? Even his argument is stupid, like dude wants to give money to the barber, but keep it instead because... greed? Keith Lee, from this being my first experience of knowing who he is, seems dope as fuck. He brought a lot of attention and didn't even leave it at that, kicked some money to even get more interest. The ill will they made for themselves is so deserved. lol and he's still trying to say the money for her is a money or clout on her end. you're trying to take the money and eat negatives. Even if the food is good, fuck them. I'd stop going to my fave local spots if they did shit like that. cutting hair and braiding where people are gonna be is a good hustle. it's hooking people up and not even crazy priced. they straight up got told who the money was for and didn't wanna give it to the people. they double/tripled down and then after waves of backlash want to say they tried. icky. last, to double down on what I really mean, good on Keith to be out helping people and I hope this doesn't dissuade him from future acts of nobility.

Well the other thing was the barber wasn’t there when all of this was going down and apparently he was leaving Dallas so I feel like he at least has a plausible reason as to why he might not have given out free haircuts if no one told him that was why- cause even the owner’s son says they didn’t realize that’s what Keith was saying before they watched the live back at the end of the day WHEREAS the owner was very well aware she was suppose to be giving out free food cause she was giving it for free until Keith left like 3 customers later

To be fair its objectively more expensive to be poor than rich. You have to pay more for the same things than rich people. You have to pay fines rich people dont. You have to pay for services rich people get for free. You have to lay for legal fees that rich people dont. You get charged fines for not having enough money in the bank. You have to pay money for not having money. Generational poverty has been studied and “yall buy gucci bags” aint the reason the hood is poor. The hood is poor because of an easy to prove paper trail of well recorded history of predatory laws created during the jim crow era to force black families into poverty. There are the people who understand the subject on one side, and you have the opinion of random internet dipsticks on the other… who we gonna go with?

@@ahh_yes_mr_baxThis right here. Very well put, I wouldn’t have been able to explain it as well as you did. It’s like when people ask why you don’t buy the expensive pairs of shoes that lasts much longer than a cheap pair that you need to replace a lot more often. It’s because I can’t afford them. I need to have a pair of shoes right now and I’m not able to buy the good pair so I’ll be stuck in the loop of replacing things with the cheapest option. There are always expenses that really burdens you when you’re poor that rich people don’t even think about. It’s always just a struggle of trying to get everything you need for shelter and shoes/clothes. You try to save but something breaks and you can’t afford not to replace it either.

I gave a guy 10 bucks on the side of the road and actually had a random passer-by shout at how im irresponsible for “enabling” him… like what? Thats not how poverty of homelessness works, and who cares? If he spends it on drugs then i hope he thinks of me when he jacks off later. i dont care! If i dont need the money right away, ill find someone to give it to that i think needs it. Ill get more money. Money is everywhere. People are finite and worth it. fun fact. the correct quote is "For the *love* of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows." 1 Timothy 6:10 (my highlight on the word "love") money isn't evil. money is paper, money is numbers. paper and numbers can't be evil because they are just things. money makes no decisions, it chooses no actions. people drown every day, is water evil? *greed* is a sin, money is just money. *gluttony* is a sin, food is just food. the reason it says "the root of ALL evil" is a comment on the nature of what money provides. POWER. if you have a lot of money, your TIME is worth more than my TIME. and that is ALL we have. we have time, everybody has a number and when your numbers up, that's it, no more time. a wealthy person can fill their hour with more *stuff* than i can. but it's the same 60 minutes. he has more stuff, but he doesn't have more hours. we each spend our time as we will, "enrich" our lives as we will. the *key* lay in the interpretation of that word. what does a person think of when they hear the word "enrich" with no context? example. i am a musician. enrichment to me is playing music with others, for preference, alone if necessary. sometimes i am paid to play, mostly i am not. i work boring jobs to fund my music. i have no wife, no children, unlucky in love and all that. and at nearly 50 it is too late, by my estimation, to start a family now. to avoid confusion, it was not my music that caused my "unlucky at love" thing, that was my autism. people come, people go. people die. one day i shall too. until then, i will never be far from a guitar. i can see eight right now.

How someone can misconstrue someone's words to benefit themselves is amazing. They literally went through word for word what he said and then decided to make their own judgements based on what he said instead of plainly doing what he asked and then decided to throw the blame to one another and discredit each other over the money instead of just doing what was said, trusting him, and moving on.

Met a lot of people like this. They get a good thing and all they can think is "How can I get a little more?" Imagine if they filmed themselves doing exactly as Keith asked. Imagine the goodwill that would have generated from their community.
