How JAPAN will land its LANDER in a Crater ?

I am noticing many people saying it is pointless as India is first to go to south pole, guys first of all, they are NOT going to south pole, and 2nd, it is always a big achievement to land on moon, if they succeed, they will be the 5th to do so, therefore it is a big deal. All lunar missions are equally important for humanity, so let's all hope for Japan's success.

After analysing their brochure, What I understand is this is not a single mission so they are taking less fuel to make the lander light weight and since they don't have much fuel, slingshot firing is not possible so they are taking gravity assist and choosing a long path and as far as landing, Yes things are complicated but we always learn new things by taking new approaches. I just wonder, since they are trying to land in a crater if they land little dip and unfortunately the lander can't send Signal, Then a signal blackout could happen and they don't even have a orbiter for backup communication.

Is this soft landing or is it a trick to mislead people. A dancer was dancing and he fell on the floor but he did not stop and kept throwing his hands and legs and the audience thought that all these acts were also part of the dancing. Japan, is playing smart this time.

Seems like a wasteful design. They shouldve landed just outside the crater after dropping the rover wrapped in a cushion inside the crater. I feel in CY4 we should drop the rover inside from a high altitude of 10m or more via a tethered harness into the crater and then the lander flies away to the crater edge on top. Tether should be high so as not to fry the rover while hovering with thrusters.
