That is definitely a struggle. Glad we have helped in some manor.

After seeing your cyclones crown curves a few sew ,cut repeat i got its template The cyclone and most hats get to use the crown hole as a top ; while the top hats is bigger lol , makes sense why theyre higher priced and wonder if thats why its a "top" hat ... might be my next project Hope ya stays on top of it lol 🇮🇪

My vote would be for an unbanded El Dorado, this way you can dress it up and switch out your hat bands if you'd like or keep it unbanded for a simple yet sophisticated look. americanhatmakers.com/products/el-dorado-mens-leather-top-hat-unbanded
