After owning a business for many years, one can become tired of the constant strains. Thinking, "maybe it's time to work for someone else and take it easier." Sees this, "I could make rubber balls," Sees worker painting rubber lines, "I'm good."

@@patrickmclaughlin61 I had a job like that one time. clocked in at 7am. I was going crazy with repetitious moves on the assembly line. I was wondering how much more time until lunch, so I looked at the clock.... It was 7:20 am. That was my last day on that job.

Depends on were its made, if the factory is in a country with more capital and better labour rights the process will be more automated and if it is in a poor country were you can pay penies a day then it will take a ton of people

VIDEOHEREBOB not that impressive. The lines are guided with the patterns in the ball. An hour or 2 of doing that would be enough training the paintbrush is almost running on rails

My family switched from cable to a satellite which doesn't get Science Channel about 6 months ago. It's been so long since I've been able to binge the marathons of How It's Made they put on Sundays. I'm getting withdrawals. So nice to see these videos :) EDIT: Hooray for Discovery+, I can now watch How It's Made whenever I want!

I was thinking that. I think rubber pieces can be used in playgrounds and astroturf as well as an additive in asphalt, but usually those applications add shredded used rubber tires and not quality virgin rubber. I was expecting this process to inject the rubber, but my understanding is butadiene rubber is not thermoreveresible, it's "thermoset"
