How do you take advantage of Beefalo in the early game? I can never seem to tame them

As long as you make sure to stockpile twigs and grass up your ass like a squirrel with nuts for winter, you should have plenty of time to ride and slowly tame a beefo. Just make sure to pick up some grass and twigs while riding them.

Base in the dragonfly desert so you can use tumbleweeds and spiky bushes for your food supplies, and go to the muddy biome in the caves for light bulbs to get their obedience up. There's a more detailed guide made by him

you can't as far as I understand. if you mouse click a location on your screen to move to, then open the map, you'll keep moving. but you need to make sure the auto-pause is off in your settings.

Nightmare Werepig hit the beefalo with his belly, not his hands. He needs to use his hands to knock someone off the beefalo.

You can lazy explorer out of arena on beefalo. Then heal him and teleport back in for another round
