If you shoot 200+ rockets to a city (e.g. Tel Aviv)... you'd also want to neutralize the threat (which apparently are buildings in Gaza that sadly have kids/people) With Iron Dome or Not (thankfully IZ system intercepted), HAMAS attempted/shot first You'd expect a country to stay chill & do nothing? John Tate probably a pretty successful murder attempt depending on the size of the blade. on average it takes a 3 inch blade to reach vital organs, that's not that big and it is easily to hide a blade around that size and slightly bigger a stabbing can also be made so quick and be deadly that the threat can do so without exposing themselves that much.

gendo1: You are correct. In fact, the "assault" is often times murder. I think one solution Israel ought to explore is just sealing off the borders of the West Bank and Gaza for once and for all. Screw being politically correct. No one can come into Israel from either of those areas. I believe that simple measure would substantially reduce the number of stabbings.

CWIS and C-RAM systems are usually the ones that do that, using the incoming projectile to backtrack where it originated.

No it wasn't. C-RAM systems like Iron Dome are based on counter-battery radars so it can in principle track where a projectile came from (if you can ccalculate the trajectory of a ballistic target you alo have its launch point), but the missiles it uses have no guidance mode that could hit a surface target. Also, may I remind you that Israel also houses important military installations in major cities like Tel Aviv?

They are. Palestinians fire thousands of rockets from civilian infrastructure to use civilians as human shields. Israeli fire to neutralize target sites and critical personal are criticized because of civilian casualties for this exact reason when their human shields are killed. You can be a Palestinian in Isreal but not a Israeli in Gaza

Iron dome is probably the best air defense system in the world for defense from artillery and rockets. A lot of things are debatable but as far as the Iron dome performing extremely well, that’s more of a fact!

Im israeli and i can tell you. That vast majority of the time iron dome works very well. But today there was mishaft That, caused it to fail and a result two women have died from hamas missle launching.

Now in 2021 Gaza needs a dome.

We all know why we're here. Couldn't have been a better time to be in my recommended videos.

The hardware designers for the ASIC's on the rockets did wonders (I suppose they directly use hardware for speed and efficiency, software would be way slower at those tasks)
