you are missing the part where the army get to choose the best candidates from all over the country to his elite thechnology units. those allready very talented people, spend 3-6 years to learn top edge technolegies,commanding other people very fast,solving important issues in creative ways(constant wars here make you creative because you got to),making connections that hard to come by in regular companies(since they live toghether and got soldiers bond). all of the above lay the road to many young talented people with knoledge ideas experience and means(connections) starting thier own companies. i dont think those conditions are availble in many other countries. it take 10 years for talented people to get to this level in regular sociaty. and those few years of experiance(23-30) are the most creative in humans life.

Just that u will know even in my company that i work in (Israeli) we have 2 Pakistani workers and one of them in my eyes is an amazing developer (also amazing person) Hopefully one day some how the land from Morocco until India will become peacfeful and the area which will become the beacon of light to the whole world

When I was a child I remember watching in the news all sorts of bombings, buses blown up, gun machine attacks in prom balls, Hezbollah rockets destroying buildings...glad to see Israelis managed to neutralize all these threats to a minimum. And as it shows in this video, they didn't just pray, curse, protest or boycott, but instead they thought hard, studied long hours, and stayed awake all night doing trial and error until things work.

Put yourself in a Palestinians position , IDF come to your house at 5am and wake up your Parents and sibling ,pack up and need to get out now , your parent family been in that house for 5 generation, your father put up a fight and get shot 5 times and your mother is in shock with the children's drag into a van taken away , who know ,maybe shot and thrown in a ditch , the next morning a Bulldozer pull the house from it's foundation , and your uncle take revenge and go to prison for 20yrs or more , one down 10,000 to go to ,life of a Palestinians in the west Bank .

I am disappointed, had high hopes when looking at the heading because it's an interesting topic the rest of the world is interested in how Israel turning soldiers, essentially young people that just got out of school, to be come entrepreneurs. But all they showed is what, nothing much about the 'how'. Show us what happened to these kids, what they did, what they went thru, to became what they have became.
