Hey everybody! I honestly don't even know what to say in response to this! I legitimately did not realize that noise was coming out of him at first. I really didn't know a human being could do that... I am just SHOCKED. I can definitely see why you all wanted me to react to this performance! It's unlike anything I've ever heard!

Dimash is the best singer in the WORLD and there are no doubts about that, his voice is a prodigy of nature and a genetic marvel since his parents are two glories of singing from Kazakhstan since he was 5 years old, he sings publicly and has more than twenty years of lyrical training and graduated from the university of music, he is a singer, composer, arranger and multi instrumentalist, he plays more than seven musical instruments and sings in more than Ten(10) languages, he is also a great performer and a great artist who lives and feels music He is not an imitator of voices , Dimash has his own style and is one of the forerunners of the "POPera" he also has a very pleasant, HUMBLE and simple personality, easy access, which makes it very easy to follow, he always travels with His family and friends is a very educated person and an example to follow, he has become known for his musical talent not for getting into trouble or scandals, It has a very wide vocal range of approximately 7 octaves ,he is a singer with a wide vocal range very versatile is Baritone, TENOR , Soprano, counter TENOR, mezasoprano, everything at the same time is how to have 5 singers in one, it has a male and female voice, also many resources such as vibrato, "melismas", falsetto, Staccato, whistle tone, reaching a( D8 )live "Outside of Piano"at the concert of Gakku in an unforgettable day, at his young age he continues to improve and grow musically to perfection, he has a good physical presence he measures 191 cm or 6 "3", he is very famous and recognized in Asia and now he is becoming known In Europe and America, ALL their songs are spectacular, it always goes from low to high, soft to spectacular at the end, in my almost half a century of life I never heard so much quality and it is the hope of continuity of the classical genre because all the old tenors have already Almost all of them died and Dimash can sing like them but none of them can sing like Dimash, being a Man he sings better than any Tenor and his female voice is superior to that of any average Soprano, greetings and a hug from Venezuela🇻🇪, "Dears" Forever ❤️👍🏻 Sorry for copying and pasting my informative comment in ALL the Video reactions to Dimash what I see but I do it with the intention of sharing information about him and what I think that in the music industry there are many artists who have been successful and have no talent and are bad people and they do not set a good example for the youth, Dimash and his music deserve to triumph in America, Europe and the whole WORLD, do you want to have already read my comment please come by without problem there is always someone who for the first time knows this information and I won't get tired of sharing it with all my friends"Dear" around the world, thanks for reading and for supporting Dimash 🙏🏻S.O.S. Molly...I'm a 79 year old retired teacher/singer-songwriter/performer, and I have severe orthopedic problems that give me chronic pain issues. I totally relate to your comment about "pain days" & "really bad pain days." I don't really have any great inside advice about dealing with it, but I will just say that I work all the time on occupying my mind with things I do enjoy like music and musical artists. I also Want to say that I wish you well in all you do. Blessings to you.

He builds up to it. In the moments when he's looking down his mouth is open and it looks like he's dealing with a tobacco dip, his jaw is tight, mouth half open, manipulating his tongue to get his larynx set and using his cords like a reed. Master of vocal control.

If you are curious about where Dimash's voice came from, see the older song "Dearest Mother", where he sings with both his parents. Someone said that it was sort of like hearing his chest voice sing with his head voice. This song was written by Dimash's father for his grandmother, who was in the audience.

Aside from the D8 that he hit everyone with, I love his actual concerts because he has that connection with the audience and when they don’t sing with him, glad to see that you noticed they were, he will often give them a chance to sing part of certain songs, his NY concert is wonderful because that happens frequently and he seems so touched by them knowing so much of his music, Unforgettable Day was written by him as a teenager and that song was performed in the NY concert, so, so good ❤️ Take care of yourself🥰

That "note" is a locating signal that Dimash needs to send to his home planet on a regular basis. It's to let them know he's safe so they won't become hostile towards us or destroy our solar system. When people say that we must protect Dimash at all costs, it's literally true. Take good care of you, Molly, and don't worry about replying to comments. Just heal.

Yes, you are right. It`s so hard to understand what he is doing and how he managed to sing in all registers, even in this high whistle note-register. Dimash is phenomenon. I appreciate that you told us about your chronical illness. I have one, too, migraine is appearing for six month and it really isn´t funny. I know that you need a lot of strength and patience and you seem to manage your life inspite of your illness. That`s great and I wish you all the best. For me Dimash`s music is empowering. So just keep on listening to him.

This was a song Dimash composed himself but he is such a great interpreter of songs as well. I would love to see your reaction to him singing Autumn Strong and Hello on I Am Singer. His rendition of Autumn Strong makes me want to cry every time I listen. If you were to listen to it please choose the version on Gloria Wu’s channel, because I think it has the best translation of the lyrics, which are just absolutely beautiful and a must read while hearing the song for the first time. That aside I totally understand if you can’t get to the comments quickly or at all, and I hope the coming days bring you less pain. Take care

Molly, thanks for this Dimash reaction. I was slightly amused by your extremely flabbergasted reaction. Dimash really is quite the phenomenon, is he not? About that note : It's called a whistle tone, and part of the definition of a whistle tone is that "it no longer sounds like a human voice". People describe whistle tones as sounding more like mechanical squeals, or dolphins, or (as in your case) tea kettles, or what-have-you, but the bottom line is that it doesn't seem human. If you watch enough Dimash reactions, you'll eventually run into a few that go into it in great technical (and even pictorial) detail. This is really one of the things I like most about watching Dimash videos : it is **incredibly** educational, especially when you run into some of the reactions from highly accomplished and educated professional singers and voice coaches from all over the world. The note was a D8, one full musical tone higher than the highest note on a standard piano. Some people often wrongly refer to Dimash's D6's & E6's (for instance, the highest notes in the middle and at the end of "Ogni Pietra") as whistle tones, and for many singers (especially men), those notes **are** whistles. Dimash, however, sings those notes as a full-throated operatic soprano, and for him, the whistle tones start somewhere higher. You can google "Dimash high notes" and find videos devoted solely to his soprano and whistle tones, but please do note the distinction between the two. It may take a little time and a few listens to wrap your mind (and your ears) around the two things separately, but it's doable with a little time and effort. I know this from having been there myself. Regarding your health issues : please do take care of yourself, and be with us when you can. No one can reasonably ask more. Easy does it. Be well. Again, thanks for your reaction here. Cheers.

Great reaction. I think the way Dimash's physiology is set up, he basically can"will" himself to hit any note. I know that eventually the "high" note becomes inaudible to the human ear. But I'm sure he will get there one day. Hope you do more Dimash soon. Thanks for ALL your videos. You are fun to watch.

The whistle rigister sounds like a tea cattle, blowing on your fingers or of course like a whistle. This was the highest note (D8) in a live performances. Some singers can hit even higher notes but not in a live performance with a heavy song like this one.

For those who like Dimash, two other must see singers are Zhou Shen and Hua Chenyu from China. Zhou Shen has a high, feminine voice that often got him bullied in school. If his classmate only could have seen the talent in that voice. As an introduction into Zhou "Charlie" Shen, begin with his premiere performance on the Voice of China singing HuanYan. After this first video, move on to his versions of "Memory", and "Time to Say Goodbye". For something different from him, watch his version of "Ring the Doorbell" and "Da La Beng Ba". His biggest success is the song "Big Fish". Another singer that is highly rated is Hua Chenyu. One never knows what one will get with a Hua Chenyu song since he mixes genres and composes many of his own songs. He is an epic stage performer spilling his emotions into the audience so they can share in those emotions. He is also a master are redeveloping cover songs into his unique perspective. I have a recommendation list, but it is not really in any particular order. "Nunchucks", "Child", I am what I am", "Fake Monk", "Friend", and "Dad, I'm Home".

Maybe you should react to Dimash and Li Yougang singing "Drunken Concubine and Diva Dance". In this performance you can hear a more controlled whistle note from Dimah.

If we check other versions that Dimash sings of this song (he wrote when he was younger), we can see a melisma or other very beautiful variations in this part of the "whistle". Here, playing on an open stage and with some discomfort in the return (we can see several times adjusting the earphone) we realize, in this specific part of the song, that he is going to do something and, not being able to perform what he pretended (perhaps interference from the audience the ragged feedback has hampered his concentration), so he sends this historic and wonderful C#8 modulated to D8 and vibrato! A more technical analysis we can see that the notes sound dissonant, as they do not belong to the harmonic field of the tonality of the music. Even so, it's a show of technique! He must have thought instantly: "Since I couldn't do what I wanted, I'm going to break bad out of the tent and send the inconceivable and supernatural D8!" Of course this is a joke of mine, but it makes us wonder: What's Dimash's limit?

At 7:06 it looked like your eyes tried to pop out of your head. At 7:40 your eyes actually popped out of your head! Dimash does this to many people!

YES that note was D8. The piano goes to C8. So it is one note higher than where the piano ends.

There were 150,000 people at this concert and Dimash donated the proceeds to charity.

I heard the world record high note for a human being of either gender is only a note or two higher than here. But that person did it in a controlled setting in a room for only a second. Dimash did it live in the middle of a concert and held it for way longer.

All the previous posters left out one detail - his planet is a dolphin planet. But really, he tried for the d7 or maybe c#7, but missed. Whistle tones are tricky. So he waited a measure or so and tried again and accidentally hit a c#8 instead of a c#7. Then the chord was changing, so he bent it up in controlled manner to d8. Both of these notes are just off the piano. The funny thing is that when we make a mistake, we tend to fall and mess up. Dimash does a d8. You can hear him do something in the 7th octave in his duet of Drunken Concubine and Diva Dance with Li Yugang at kzread.info/dash/bejne/aohnrJuNobiTgbA.html Li Yugang is a Chinese singer who specializes in traditional Chinese theater where the female parts are played by men and in his case, sung by men.
