@@KareemXFootball Ive been using a 60% for years now and just got this keyboard and I can honestly say that I much prefer this layout. It was so tedious have to use the function layer for every little thing that wasn't just typing. I was forced to use the caps it came with because changing them would mean that I would have to memorize the function layer layout for basically all 60 keys. At least with this 75% I could change the caps to anything i would want. It's also hotswap and south facing when my 60% wasnt even though it was $50 more. My 60% was also cramped making typing harder than it needed to be. I have large hands. I will still keep and have fond memories of my Ducky Mecha Mini though. It was my first mechanical keyboard.

For a prebuilt keyboard that is def budget, budget is considered 100 and below, mid range is typically 100 to around 250ish and high range is 250+

Personally no numpad is a deal breaker for me, I gotta have those extra buttons.

I thought he was gonna say like $30. $89 is more like mid-tier / upper-mid-tier pricing - not as expensive as top-of-the-line keyboards that go for $100+, but def not "budget" either. I actually did get a budget keyboard recently, to replace an old expensive gaming keyboard that was failing after 2 yrs of use. Got that replacement budget keyboard for around $32 CAD - all mechanical keys (blue clicky switches though unfortunately, no other choices), RGB backlit, and aluminum base. It's a bit too noisy, but for $32 CAD, it's a real bargain. Feels good to type on/game on.

Eh no. You are obviously looking only at that OLED screen per key monstrosity that I forget the name of now, maximus something. Most better keyboards are $100 ish if you don't go nuts. Mine is like $200 maybe as it is now, wired&wireless, whale and mx browns mixed and full custom keycaps, with an LCD to select mode, wired, wireless or BT. Model is 'attack shark' so chinesium but it's not bad at all.

I yapped too much TLDR: this is budget for something good when youre getting into the mechanical keyboard hobby. Working for $90 in the US isn't a lot for hobbiests. since i already know people arent gunna say this isnt budget, for *mechanical* keyboards of decent quality, this is a really good price for one. People used to pay 200+ for something like this and still do. In the US, $90 dollars isn't a crazy amount of money to save up for a hobby when you're working a job. Especially for a keyboard of this quality.

You're not in aarket for mechanical keyboard. It's okay. You just have different priorities

For me a perfect keyboard is full size and has the buttons in a consistent place compared to the other keyboards I use daily. As a person in IT I regularly use 10+ different machines and my biggest frustration is the keys being in an unexpected place on different keyboards.

$89 is about 1/4 of the average monthly salary in my country. Of course, I understand that this keyboard is worth the money, but to call it "budget" is wild.

Gotta admit it does sound nice

I had one like that I got at best buy. Was solid metal and the buttons popped off with the clip pin thing. It was about 80 bucks. Best keyboard I've ever had. Great for gaming too. I have big hands and it felt smooth typing.

Just got mine in the mail yesterday. I opted for the version with the full numpad, for convenience sake. Mine came with linear red switches, but I can back up bro’s “Oh” at the end. I look for reasons to type on this thing. It’s just that GOOD.
