@Shane B Depends on how you learn. I'm the opposite, I learn more from hands on experiences. I didn't have a good grasp on coding for a bit - always sucked. A lot of it was lecture then practice it a little. Not till I got into my first practicum course did I finally have a good grasp of coding. By week two of that class, I was shitting quality. At the time, you could say I had "1000" hours worth of lectures.

@Estrogen Fury exactly, with time and enough intuition you can learn and teach yourself how to be super good at this game. In some ways that's better. It's good to have your own tricks that you teach yourself. Being able to play the way you want because it's how you play is extremely valuable.

@@beardeddragon1828 Yeah, sports in general are useless in the long run. Big time sports events take a lot of time and money to organize and set up by these massive companies that are backed up by even more massive companies and it's all just for some silly game in the end. That's what people don't really get though. It's fun to watch other people take a simple game that any kid can play, such as basketball and see how far they can go by reaching or surpassing their limits and the game's limits. In this case, eSports are literally that exact thing. People train in a particular game and go to compete with other pros of the same or similar level to see who's best. Yes, any 9 year old kid can play Basketball but they won't be able to reach the level of Michael Jordan without putting in the time or effort. And anyone can also play Smash but they won't be able to compete with the likes of M2K if they just play casually.

21:40 Hey, to be honest, when I was in high school I knew that big guy would go for the punch in my freaking face, I just knew it, but, you know... it seems that the position he can put you and you put yourself also plays a part in how effective that punch was.

I think the reason everybody techs in place on platforms is because 1. To time it so that you tech either way from getting hit onto a platform is hard 2. People tend to hold shield, ready to tech in place and then quickly shield, pretty easy option, in that scenario with MKLeo, he just couldn't shield in time

I saw top 8 of Genesis 6. It was literally right before Byleth. I wanted ESAM to win this. But I also root for Samsora. But honestly you beating both of them was still hype, and you winning the whole tournament against Leo was amazing too. I saw the comment section saying “🚘post 🚘these🚘cars🚘to🚘help🚘out🚘Marss” and everyone spamming that, it was sick, your win was sick, its been a few months but congratulations
