    Great video! The 3 major skills needed was my biggest take away. 1. Getting along with and understanding people / human nature. I feel like this one of the areas that really challenges me but I'm working to get better and better everyday. 2. Finance/Money 101. Basic budgeting, understanding insurance, understanding financial statements, and understanding how articulate these things is BIG. Most people need a lot of help with these basic concepts, so when you can provide more than just an insurance product, but you can offer peraonal advice to help people understand the money game is a game changer. 3. Personal/Leadership development. This has always been a fun journey for me. And if I continue to grow in the first area (Human Nature) this will definitely help grow my leadership skills. "Growing or dying."

    Such a great video! The hybrid model is definitely the way to go. Couple of takeaways: going from the Marines to financial services is not easy and what I noticed is that throughout your journey, you still continued to be a student of the business. Another takeaway is how important systems are and knowing your numbers like the back of your hand. It’s so crazy how the industry has evolved but knowing your numbers is still key. It’s crazy that 5k flyers would give you 6-7 clients back then but that’s the game of numbers. I just got even more clarity on why putting numbers in your favor is so important. You dropped gems in this video!

    Great Video Matt my biggest take away is seeing how transitioning from a producer mindset to a builders mindset you were able leverage a system to grow your business and significantly multiply your income. This is a perfect example of being on the right side of the cashflow quadrant. In the process you were able to impact the lives of more people not only on the client side but on the Entrepreneurial coaching side.

    Love the video, Matt. It compliments Pat's most recent video "Who Did You Pick?" very well. Why do I say that? Let me explain. Back in 2019, I made several picks. One pick was to come to a different city, 9 hours away from my hometown, bring my family with me, and start fresh. Another pick was to choose the entrepreneurial path, learn the necessary skills, and commit to it for the next 12 months (20 and counting currently). Another pick was to make better choices as to WHOM I spend my time with, WHOM I spend my time talking to, WHOM I spend my time learning from, WHOM I spend my time teaching, WHOM I spend my time advising, and so on. The next pick I am about to make... well, this will be an interesting one. I am already considering my next moves in terms of who I can leverage, what platforms can I use to spread my message, what systems do I need to create and adapt to reach the desired outcome. For me, this video is more than just a video. It is a blueprint that has been time tested through hardships, a lot of money, and a process of failing your way to success. I have a saying that is at the core of who I am, what I do, and why I do it. The saying goes like this: "Keep working until everyone else quits; then keep working."

    You break everything down perfectly for a new entrepreneur to understand. A lot of these other guys beat around the bush and talk like they’re talking to an experienced entrepreneur. Breaking down the little things and all the in between stuff is what I’ve had trouble with. This video alone has helped me understand a lot more. I wish I could have this man as a mentor

    What I've learned in business is you can either stay self-employed (producer) or you can be a business owner (has a system that allows for mass distribution). Your explanation of the hybrid model in the life insurance industry not only proves that building is the way to attain exponential growth and income but also eliminated the "need" to work "in" your business. Especially when you have the clear example of your $189k in personal production compared to your distribution (override) producing over $14M. That is insane and extremely powerful of the impact of building even through a pandemic.

    This is amazing. The fact you went to school AFTER entering the industry and didn't complete the certification but you have been able to be successful is mind blowing. It's easy to see that we would take for granted something with low barriers to entry and without the requirement of a degree to enter this industry it's no surprise many probably would have never thought about life insurance as an entrepreneurial venture/career. Even more so as a network marketing structure, as that model isn't popular since it requires a different level of work. Thanks for the content, it provided a of of perspective.

    Great video Matt. My biggest takeaway is the power of having a system that is rooted in personal and professional development, mentorship, and volume through scalability/ duplication. Your production increased considerably due to your willingness to pivot to a system that was more conducive for building an agency than just personal production. The other key point that you made was “If that’s what they see fit.” People have to want it. You’ve proven that it’s possible and the tools are available. People have to decide whether they’ll die at 25 with their dreams smothered by fear and complacency or live to work toward to dream, learn, and grow.

You’re formula is broken down and easy to follow, if people decide to take this route of becoming an entrepreneur. $500 to $45 mil...who wouldn’t want that income without all that goes into building a business the traditional way? Hybrid is the way to go! Follow the system!

    Great information, He is right the hybrid system is the best way to get started and to build massive wealth. Having a structure and a system in place is essential to get started and once you are well off enough there is a template to move up and start your agency from within the company. Insurance is the way to go but you need to be competent and a hard worker. In a hybrid system, the building blocks are there but you have to use the training and tools/coaching that is provided for you to succeed.

  • @melissaakins280
    @melissaakins2803 жыл бұрын

    Great video and awesome words of advice. Biggest take away for me is to lay down the foundation for anything you are doing and BUILD from there. You will face burnout and not want to do things if your SYSTEM is not working for you. Until you learn to work the SYSTEM and understand the ins and outs of what you will be doing and how you will be doing it, you will not be successful. Learn to eliminate the cons and keep the pros in order to create the lifestyle you want so you can keep building on your foundation to be successful as an entrepreneur. Building requires expansion without restrictions on regions and territories and that’s a beautiful thing about building with PH because we have a standard operating procedure to build an agency. Retaining our best people who have a financial vested interest is beneficial for them and a great way to continue an upward trajectory for our hybrid model. Learning SYSTEMS will allow you to run your business like a business. This is what we ultimately want and this is a blessing. To answer the questions. 1. If I continue to do what I’m doing for the next 5 and 10 years, I will have the lifestyle that I want to live. This will involve following abs trusting the SYSTEM. 2. I’m not afraid of anything. I’m ready for the challenge. 3. I want to live a debt free life. I want to own a business where everyone wins and increases their income, dreams, and business acumen on a daily basis. This is what success and leaving a legacy is to me.

    This video is amazing! I appreciate the breakdown of the systems and how the systems of Finance, Insurance, and network marketing can create a hybrid model anyone can duplicate and implement. Burnout is so easy to happen because many of us in the beginning are trying to break out of the mindset we have had developed over time. So when focusing on just sales because we think that is what we should do thats the burnout. The system is built to help us to expand, outside of the sales, and becoming a Business Owner and CEO. Its all bout them systems!

    This is a fireeeee video!! They way you broke down the hybrid business, paired with the agency building model was so clear! It put so much in perspective when it comes to network marketing. Even more specifically, the inventory and manufacturing aspect of sales. It simplifies the ability to run the business. Now I’m looking at it as: All I need to do is personally develop, learn the vocabulary and follow the systems in play to win?? SUPER SIMPLE. Even going over the skills to master in the business, it makes it appealing and easier to approach/present to someone about how to win in the business because you just have to acquires three main skills. A skill is something that is taught, so anyone can learn! That limited belief of “I’m not good at ‘xyz’” is null and void because you just have to learn it. The challenge then becomes, effort. Love the video Matt! Thank you for this!

    First, no I am not part of this company. 2D, no, I am not a licensed agent. 3rd, no, I am not involved in MLM/NWM. If all you can think about is how your recruiter/mentor is making money OFF of you, you need to just get a tin cup and panhandle. Or a job, where NOBODY makes anything off of your efforts, right? LOL If you won't listen to those attempting to help you, rattle the tin cup a lot. If you don't have the drive to "make it to the top" add a sign to the above with "homeless or lost job or can't stand for anyone to be paid for helping me make money" Life insurance as a career makes a lot of sense. Especially if you have little money and big ambition. That old "be willing to pay the price of success" is the same regardless of where you go or what you want to do. You don't become a black belt watching it on tv or resenting the fact that your sensei charges you for lessons..."wax on, wax off"

    45,000 Reps...? This is what's missing from the Equation... Matt's an OG...he did the reps... Once you do the reps you can plug into any system and make 7-Figures... Don't discount the work...you start out tomorrow with $500 & no experience you are a white belt... no system makes you a Black Belt...you must still do the work... Most dont fail because the lack of systems...but lack of work & repetitions... Great Clickbait...thought you turned $500 & no experience into $45 Mil Income...these ppl are diff shapes, sizes, experiences & talents...success is not one size fits all, and everyone's 45,000 reps are different... Find something you would love doing even if you knew you had 95% chance of failure...you'd still keep doing it...the money is a by product of being good!

    Yep life Insurance. You design it right. Like Whole life with like 60/40 helps. Most like the 90/10, but your booster stops running out. Mine is 50/50.

    Wow, what I take away from this video is, if you ask the right questions to the people you want to emulate, they will tell you how they achieved financial success, how they’ve overcome triumph and how to get through the same situations less hurt than they did. That’s why you’re teaching us what happened to you, so we don’t make the same mistakes. It resembles a parent/child relationship, don’t make the same mistakes I did. You want to ensure we don’t spend time and money on things that are not important to the life insurance business. We have systems in place now that if we just follow, we can do what you did in half the time you did it because you’ve given us the blueprint to success. Life Insurance doesn’t soften the blow of losing a loved one, but it does make your pillow softer knowing there will be no stress in laying your loved one to rest or taking care of those people/things they left behind. Find the right mentor to follow and who can give you the pathway to success. The 50% rule applies! Whatever you do only 50% will respond, commit, or follow through. If you are in network marketing, treat it like a business. The only way you don’t achieve success, is if you don’t put the time and energy into your business. Follow the system, this is an agency building system, not just one of those things. The model that is in place will help us achieve our goals in record breaking time, if we follow it. As hybrid entrepreneurs, we have no restrictions or borders to limit our outreach. We have no manufacturing costs, no products to store, no ads to buy and no flyers to send. We do however, have family, friends and social media. We must at some point invest in our own businesses by renting an office space and paying for assistants and BSCs. It’s best to retain your best people and always keep them satisfied, because job satisfaction is important as well as employee satisfaction. Anyone can do this business as long as you can get along with others and give it all you’ve got. Become an insurance agent if you want sells and a six figure income, with low cost and low overhead. It’ll be the best $199 you’ve ever invested in yourself.
