I really agree with you, especially on the social media point. I used to buy way too much and I had an excessive collection. But now, as I watch a lot of panning and conscious consumerism content, I really got into using what I have and buying less. (But getting a little older and more responsible for myself has also helped a lot)

I'm so glad to hear! That's true, I didn't mention how getting older and more mature was also probably a factor.

a tip that keeps me from buying things (not just makeup) on sale just because they're on sale came from a black Friday shoppers TV special and they remarked that you're not actually getting a deal on the item unless it's more than 40% off. At 40% you're paying about the price of manufacturing and anything over that is actually a deal, it just makes me think about how much the products that I want to buy actually cost vs. how much they're being marked up to make a profit. This stat could be totally wrong now but it always makes me reconsider when I want to buy something on "sale".

Oh that's a great tip!! Thank you for sharing that. We get so excited about 10% off, 20% off, but it's helpful to know that unless it's 40% off it's (likely) not worth the price.

the no buy queen 👑 is at it again with a fabulous new video ! you're so right about how just being in a drugstore or around makeup generally can make us (or in this case me) inclined to buy things. I was at a grocery store yesterday with my partner and he was getting something from an isle beside the makeup and was like "do you want to go take a look?" I'm like yeah! i'll just take a quick peek, see what's new. Within 3 mins i had mascara in my hand. I did end up putting it back. The last time I went to physically look at makeup was in December and I had forgotten how influential it can be.

I haven’t had a cold for over 2 years! My son currently has a cold so I’m pretty sure I’ll get it! I’m so tempted to get a new cream bronzer but I haven’t really used the Fenty bronzer stick I have so I can’t justify buying another one

aw I'm sorry to hear that :( I hope you somehow manage to avoid it! My partner (who I live with) is still healthy and I have no idea how lol Also, I generally don't like cream blushes so I don't expect I'll like cream bronzers - but I'm still super curious about them!

Now you're at a point where you're at the last of certain catagories, do you know what you're planning on replacing them with? eg, what your next foundation will be? what your next shampoo/conditioner will be?

Ooh maybe I could do a reel or a youtube short about that! Honestly i think it's a combination or naturally long lashes, plus knowing how to properly use a lash curler, and having a good mascara
