It just felt like she was the butt of the joke and i really feel like only this joke or prank would have worked if they had an established work relationship and this wasn’t the FIRST collab. “I felt awful about it” but said 0% guilt either? I’m really glad she confronted him in a sense instead of being quiet.

it’s a video game. it really doesn’t look like she took it that seriously. she doesn’t look hurt at all in the video (maybe a little uncomfortable because like who wouldn’t be right after being told that they were tricked.. but it doesn’t seem like it mattered all that much to her long term), she wouldn’t have retweeted the video for her twitter followers to see or commented a joke on the video if she was hurt, she follows him on twitter, they’ve absolutely talked to each other plenty of times off camera so if it did affect her negatively at all there were definitely plenty of opportunities for them to resolve it. seanie isn’t the devil incarnate or whatever for telling someone bad advice for a video game as a joke

Plus he is a much bigger person in the community, and this is her job, of course she is going to still use the content and support him.

I agree, it just felt kind of shitty to do as a FIRST collab together, it’s a strong first impression to do a dishonest-comedy route. I don’t know how much “hurt” she felt because obviously we can’t speak on their feelings or personal relationship whether as friends or as respective colleagues but it’s still kind of an ick to be introduced to him this way as a subscriber of Liss that found his channel because of that collab and hoping to come here to find even more actually helpful tips.

The fact that she followed the advice for weeks/months because she thought you were trying to help her is what makes this feel so shit. Like it wasn't even funny because she must have spent hours doing something that wasn't even beneficial. Poor girl, man. She seems so sweet.

Fun fact, I actually grow a ton of artichokes for super meals for Harvey for after I marry him because I like to mix it up rather than just giving him coffee. I wine and dine him because he deserves it for being such a sweetheart ❤️

I took the shepherd perk and filled a deluxe barn with sheep just so i could give Emily wool and cloth because i thought she was getting tired of gems and needed material to sew with.

The idea sounded fun but you should have just either gave her only one bad tip (like only the slime hutch) or just revealed you were pranking her before she went through with it completely. She sounded really hurt

it seems like they will probably collab again and liss will be able to get “revenge” (judging by her quote retweet of the video) but like at the end of the day it really isn’t a big deal. they’ve interacted with each other off camera, they’ve had plenty of conversations we haven’t seen. they both seem to be perfectly able to communicate in a mature way with each other so like if she was seriously hurt i’m sure it’s been resolved

this video has such a weird vibe...she was just being made fun of and being laughed at even when she said her feelings were hurt. it may have been just a prank but it still feels meanspirited especially for someone that is new

The fairy rose honey is actually really good passive income, idk if you’ve looked it up/ the layout, but you can grow them on the left side of ginger island farm and a lottt of beehouses around it with the most optimized layout, it’s a good way of making use of the left half of GI farm, also I always go hardcore into making profit in game so I’m not the taking it slow casual player but I always get a slime hutch and at least one of every building anyway and make a pretty decorated farm 😄

i read that liss was being cool about it, so i watched this video, but consistently laughing about the slime hutches and artichokes comes off as super mean-spirited and obnoxious

Dude, that was just evil. But to be honest, even in the lies he managed to help liss, she was just so lost. Putting the honey in the left side of gringer island and using the java ring instead of planting coffee is amazing advice, i have been using and it changed my gameplay. I thought the artichoke thing was sooooo weird, planted once, but was kinda lazy and opted for the second hint that was pineapple, which turned out to be a great tip. Pineapples were pretty good for me, not as good as ancient fruit, but faster to set up. I prob would have taken 2x what it took for perfection if i had gone for the obvious ancient fruit. I did fall for the slime hutch, but i'm not mad, it was fun to get to know that mecanic that i had never messed with. It was a nice change from the wine grind, and at the end it helped my run a bit, along with the animals i already had on my farm.

This is so funny but I can't wait for Liss to take revenge bc you are SO EVIL for this

It was just genuinely so mean spirited, like you purposefully gave her bad advice to ruin her video and her progress all so you could make her content play into an idea you had for your channel. It just seems slimy and in really poor taste. Like she seems like such a sweetheart.

I was wondering why this one on your second channel… it was so mean and to leave her for weeks or months thinking she made a helpful video. I felt so sad when she said that she was nervous for a collab :(

Don’t worry! They recently met up at the stardew concert and everything was good! He mentioned in the concert video how when he first saw her he was worried to talk to her cause the comments on this vid made him worried that he actually had hurt her feelings, but then they talked and it was fine and they spent basically the whole event together and afterwards he went to a bar with Liss and her friends! I think it’s just part of KZread culture to play up the drama a little, and it works because it drives engagement. As anecdotal proof, this was the first video of his I ever watched and not even half way through I watched her whole hour long video before finishing this cause I was invested, and then after I watched his concert video, and then I subscribed to them both. So while it’s not the nicest, we can’t deny that drama draws people in and does well for views 😭 And I’m ashamed to admit it works on me too. So as long as they both got increased views, engagement, and subscribers and are still on friendly terms, I think it all worked out okay! (Im a lil drunk so pardon any spelling or grammar errors or just me not making perfect sense. Hope I came across okay here!)

I was so relieved to learn that they’re actually totally cool. Also, I learned that she’s very tough skinned and definitely able to hold her own lmao. She was very quick to (playfully) bully him as revenge when they hung out 😂

Need to talk about the real gift here, every terribly boring ancient fruit winery is the same, at least the artichoke slime yard was unique

unpopular opinion: slime hutches are cool. yes they take a lot of resources at first but after that if you get a sprinkler they may as well be automatic. plus, the slimes are cute. they arent bad, just more tailored towards a specific lifestyle. id rather spend my time of the day in the mines/skull cavern, rather than tending to crops and animals, so its large size relieves the workload of other duties

i have a slime hutch on my perfection farm. it actually gave me something fun to do in the summer apart from grow starfruit and ancient fruit i the greenhouse. it's not good money wise but extremely fun.
