I suppose inductors, being low pass filters, would become a prime suspect, since you are getting excessive high pitch noises. Great sleuthing, especially the part about using a magnetic part to induce a response from the inductors. I learnt another new skill today!

Hi, I have recently purchased a Q900A soundbar. The audio started becoming muffled all of a sudden (as it’s underwater) after a while of use, when on 3D audio eArc mode. I tried it on another TV (which has an eArc port) in our house and the issue persists. I also tried different sound modes through the Smart Things App, but didn't fix the issue. The malfunction isn't consistent, it's intermittent. Whenever I unplug and plug it goes away for a while, then comes back either after hours of use, or days of use. However, most of the time the sound will remain muffled. Given the above explanation of what the issue is, would you be able to suggest what parts should be replaced? I have a whining or high pitch noise coming from my rear satellite speakers on my vizio sb36514. One side is louder in noise than the other. When music is played through the speakers, it crackles. Wound faulty inductors cause this?

I have a Samsung sound bar I found in the alley. The screen looks slightly faded on one side, but that’s not really the issue. It connects to the subwoofer fine, but is stuck on “Wait” and doesn’t connect to any device (AUX, HDMI, Bluetooth). Do you think a main board replacement would fix this? I cannot update it because it won’t connect to my phone via Bluetooth, so my only choice is a hardware fix.

Good afternoon. Help me please. I have LG SL6Y soundbar. Dozens of people have the same problem as me. Every 30 minutes the sound becomes quieter. Only turning it off and on helps. There is no software solution. They say it's due to overheating. There are a lot of complaints. LG doesn't know the reason. A solution has been found. One guy disassembled and installed the fan on the area where it heats up the most. It helped him. Two friends of mine disassembled the soundbar and took out the dried thermal pad. For a whole week in the workshop, the guys found out the following: the temperature sensor was broken. He thinks there is a fire and cuts off the power. Can you try to do something about this?

I have been trying so hard just to figure out how to open mine so I can repair or replace a blown speaker but I cant find a single screw hole or anything. But now it's my question that wall sound at the end that was cycling up and down as you called it.
