I'm 52 and One thing I learnt in life is that no matter how little, no matter the age it's never too late to get started and having the mindset that every day of your life you're evolving. Life becomes unpleasurable when you add too much pressure. I started my path to reinventing myself a year ago, I’m now living healthier, confident, stronger, making 6 figures, having leisure to enjoy family &friends. I feel happier and living my life for myself . This is to encourage someone “you can start anytime to have a reset it’s worth it! I’m striving to continue growing cus it’s a journey 💗

I am in my 70s. What I know for sure is this: we never stop evolving and learning; we learn most from our mistakes, so they cannot be failures; self awareness is a good thing but what matters most is what we contribute to others; events that rock us to our core are survivable if we are willing to adapt. Im so glad I clicked on your channel! I’ve subscribed. I lost my husband 10 years ago and it’s been quite the journey. Im wanting what’s next but don’t know what it is. God has been there, carrying me through this foggy period, I know that. Im ready for sunshine now. It’s been very exhausting. Great video! Personal failure is difficult to go through but probably the most important part of life for growth and learning.

I find your content very relatable. I’m an immigrant 3x over, 50, grown kids, married for 30 years. I enjoy your stories and they make me wonder if I could reorganize my life at this point as well. Your content is thought provoking and a little intense at times, surely reflective of your current evolution and the logistics you are working through. Came to this through Nathan's channel and been watching since you started it with I think documenting your Iceland trip together. I think it is incredible you are all sharing what you are sharing as individuals and a family unit and very much needed especially in showing alternative paths but also the reality of the journey in walking them and following your passions. As someone far away from my family, literally across the world, its great to see how bonded you are and that usually comes through enduring and moving through levels of adversity which I can relate to myself. Thank you for sharing yourself in such a candid but creative way. I also deeply felt for you when you lost your bag on the train with passport, as I had it with finding out that I had overstayed a visa when going to check into a hotel outside Shanghai, and it really was the support from my loved ones and a lot of deep self talk that pulled me back from the brink that time as in my own history I certainly went well beyond that at one point. Anywhere, looking forward to watching much more and wish you all the best in getting settled into you new lives in Europe and finding a place conducive to who you have all grown into.

I absolutely love this video. You gave me pause to think about what am I bringing to the table in my marriage. How am I shutting down from all the stresses that are happening. What can I learn? How can I change? Wow. You are my favorite here on KZread. Incredible. Thank you so very much.

I feel this to my core. As a father of two sons i felt/feel a responsibility to show them what it means to stick to your guns and pursue what you feel is your direction in life. That being said, I have not yet proven to them that is the right path. I've struggled so much over the recent years to show them that doing your own thing is the path to happiness. But so far not much to show for my efforts. As of recent just a lot of struggle and not much else. Through the years I always had dreams I was chasing that I thought were going to take us to a better place in life, to be a positive example of "if you want it bad enough you will eventually get it'' mindset, but have so far fell flat on my face pursuing my goals. I have failed over and over again right in front of them the whole time, and it is slowly breaking me down on the inside. I wanted so badly to be the hero, I wanted to be the father they looked up to and gained momentum in life by seeing the success their dad had created for himself and his sons. I still want to prove to them you can make it at any age, but I have to admit I'm losing hope, life seems to be passing by so fast now and at 46 years old I have still not yet found my own true direction, or the success I'd imagined having by now. I'm left with the thought, how do I lead as a positive father figure to my sons if there has been no signs of levelling up in life as an example? I wake up with this thought every morning. I don't want my boys to one day remember me as failed at life.The last thing I wanna do is let them down. My efforts have not yet provided what I thought it once would for them. And it's crushing me.

I hear you. Try to give up any thought of wanting to be better. Don’t try to impress them but focus on you, and what’s best for you, what you love to do. And chase after it with all the courage you can muster, attending to all the feelings that bubble up along the way. I did this after 50 and so can you. Wishing you all the best. 🙏
