Did not know you were into sound engineering. I used to want to go to school for that years ago, but couldn’t afford at the time. Growing up around music and being into computers was a natural progression into trying to change and improve sounds for other people. Hopefully I’ll go get a degree soon, tryna get like you! 😂

I put the bavs in my f30 and it sounds amazing. I only had the hifi system and now it’s loud crisp and punchy no distortion. I bet these sound good too.

Would this be a upgrade over the Amp that comes with the bang and olfussen system?

Bavsound no longer offers the subwoofer for the S752 system because they noticed the amp from the system was blowing a lot of the subs. Have there been any reports of compatibility issues with this and the S752 system?

Did you ever find 1M floor mats with the orange stitching? I have been looking for a set since 2019 after I got my 135i. Discontinued. I toasted the clips on the door jamb cover at the bottom when I installed side skirts. The M logo replacements are clutch. Slowly going back to watch these 135i builds. Just found out you got one.

Good video John, seems like a great upgrade OE+. I buy "brand new or nearly new. Factory audio technology has come a long way" vehicles now with the top of the line audio system available and leave it be. I used to upgrade any audio system that came with my vehicle as they were never quite up to the available aftermarket technology. I can 100% see why you upgraded the audio in the 1 series M1 conversion. It seems like a major, major upgrade. In 04 I ordered a Lexus IS300 with every available option including the top available audio and it did not hold a candle to my previous aftermarket systems so, I went crazy on it. $14,000 worth of audio and video "that was the nicest system I have ever owned". At the time it was 100% worth it. Best factory systems, Bang & Olefson (commonly found in Audi top trim vehicles, for example even an A4 has a 19 speaker surround sound B&O system that is fantastic. Step up to A7 and you get and even more powerful (21?) speaker system). Burmester found in several vehicles including Porsche vehicles, Mercedesvehicles "oh, fantastic audio). Meridian commonly found in Land Rover and Jaguar. Bowers and Wilkins commonly found in Volvo. AKG commonly found in Cadillac. Mark Levinson typically found in Lexus. A few others are very good, Bose makes some really good systems depending upon the vehicle and "grade of Bose system".

Contemplating this for my A90 Supra. I've already done the tadda port mod. What are your thoughts man?

To the best of my knowledge, they don't offer the amp/dsp for the Supra, so you'd still be bottlenecked by the stock amp & dsp. So I don't know how much better it would be. If you end up finding out though, report back I want to upgrade the sound in my Supra as well

hows this vs the bmw kardon harmon? im using the stock oem ones in my 428i

We turned off the sound, and just watched you just groove in your car.

My f30 has the logic 7 so would this make a big difference?

Not anymore, I’ve been out of the field for over a decade. I personally have used quite a few. In larger studios we would run directly off the board with a plethora of pre amps etc. solid state boards mostly. We even tracked to tape for certain projects. But at my home studio I used mostly pro tools and pro tools DAW

does this sound better than the bwm Harmon kardon factory system?
