Are you screen mixing it or using a ball mill? If the 75/15/10 isn’t working then use the 60/30/10 mixture but the way I start so you don’t waste materials is make 10 grams and then try it out. 6g kno3 /3g charcoal 1g sulfur.

I love this but I don’t use it very often because I know how to make battery packs and I made a 12volt 16AH battery that I use for my icy breeze but still the EB3A is solid

So Amazon sells the 1 ton arbor press that’s what I started on. I still have my arbor press but I don’t use it often.

The narrower the bore, the less pressure you need. 1/4" ID I can easily do by hand. 3/8" sometimes works by hand pressure. 1/2" and now 3/8" I do using a grapefruit squeezer -- a hand rack-and-pinion device of which there are plenty around, you can probably find one cheap at a garage sale; it's a small arbor press but you have to adapt it by adjusting its travel. Wood dowels work as rammers.

So you don't need one of those $3000 pneumatic presses that goes up to 8000 psi ? I was unaware of this and thought rockets were out of my league at the moment. An arbor press is good enough ? My dad has an arbor press he might let me have if I asked him. This is good to know, thanks y'all 👍🙏

Yes for sure and ever since I was a kid I’ve always wanted them but couldn’t afford them so when I got older I bought the things I didn’t have has a kid and that included fireworks tools and chems so that’s how I got into making my own. I appreciate those that watch my videos.

I have a question about hot glue guns and fireworks my glue gun runs constant power like yours so while it’s running it doesn’t make any sparks however when I plug it in it cracks an arc all the videos say to unplug it while you use it and plug it back in after it feels safer to just leave it plugged in am I missing something the pop and crack of the arc plugging it in scares the hell out of me while I’m making rockets

So I never disconnect it when using it and I’ve used it with flash, whistle, BP and an opened canister shell powder but I am careful not to allow the tip to touch the powder as much as I can because the heat may ignite the powder and that might be why they disconnect it but I don’t.
