    Just a suggestion: while you are losing weight, buy clothes at the resale shops. Don't spend so much money on new clothes while you are losing.

    @@tpquest6959 so it’s been 3 and half weeks as of today and I literally stuck to everything Amina talked about in her what I eat in a week video ...I also intermittent fast (so I stop eating at 8pm and began eating the next day at 12pm or later depending on how long I could go but always after 12pm) when I get lazy and don’t feel like cooking a whole keto meal I just drink Atkins protein shakes because they taste like actual milkshakes but super Low carbs and net carbs.. but when I cooked I always made sure I had a protein (Amina said she doesn’t eat red meat but I do I eat red and white meat and always have my veggies on the side ...keto is very easy due to the fact that you can have a lot of things you wouldn’t think you could have. For my dinner just tonight I had the low carb bread Amina showed in her other video (referenced above) and I had breadless chicken strips already cooked and seasoned with the FLAVOR GOD seasoning which is a website for all seasonings with low carb as she also mentioned that’s where she got the buttery cinnamon roll seasoning from and I added some honey mustard sauce to the chicken with Mayo on the bread and it was so good. Quick note: I don’t exercise a lot (only sometimes) but I clean and run errands and go walking with my husband (sometimes because he works a lot)my house almost everyday with a waist trainer on and sweat cream. But I just simply found a very low carb and net carb alternative to things I really like and it’s starting to become a lifestyle. I also drink lemon water about 1-2 times a day sometimes with added in crystal light to make my low carb lemonade. Then I drink water every other time . I drink apple cidar vinegar every morning and night with water. Also, if you want to snack on “junk food” on keto you are allowed to have pork skins and slim Jim’s(not too many and watch sodium intake) as well as pickles and if you don’t like that like Amina mentioned the Greek yogurt with low carb granola is a plus and you don’t just have to put chicken in the quesadilla you can put your eggs and bacon and add cheese on top to melt the two ....there’s so many things to do with keto ...Research before hand is key and I also don’t count my total calories because I already know I got big in the first place off of only eating junk food but I was t eating 2,000-3000 calories a day to began with and it’s strict but I really don’t notice that I only intake about 700-1000 calories a day....weight just started falling off

    Thx for your vulnerability and honesty. And from someone who had VSG, I appreciate that you shared it is only a tool. I work with women who are experiencing regain after weight loss surgery. It’s really hard for them because they feel looked down upon and ashamed. But so many dr do NOT explain there are reasons we gained to begin with. It IS. A TOTAL transformation (like what you’ve accomplished!). So thanks for sharing!!! Hugs

    I can see a Fitbit really helping you and you will end up liking it and keeps u kinda testing yourself and trying to top the last time. I noticed you like seeing changes in weight scale your belt and things a lot and it motivates you I think the fit bit would do the same thing for you and another way to keep you motivated.

    @@angelmeredith3163 A low to no carb diet meaning you either only eat a small amount of carbs or non at all. Carbs are foods like pasta, bread, rice, cakes, anything baked etc. There's a lot you can look up online about it.

    You got cramps from not having enough electrolytes. Low magnesium causes cramps. From the start, make sure to get your potassium, sodium, and magnesium each day. These are essential for fasting and or keto. Some people are fine without...but why even leave yourself open to keto flu or issues. LMNT is a good brand but there are a TON of ways to get them.

    After eating too many carbs in one day I get tired and I get a slight headache too it’s weird! If I keep my carbs low I am fine. Yeah it helps to work out or do a little something everyday.

    Potassium, magnesium and sodium levels are affected by keto. Lack of any of those can cause the keto flu.

    For your Charley horse just add pink Himalayan sea salt in your water 1/2 or 1tsp. In ur bottle water. that means ur lack of minerals and that will help.

    There is also NET CARBS. Carbs minus fiber so 20 net carbs could actually be 40 actual carbs. Fiber is a great thing and helps you keep your net carb intake down.

    Potassium deficiency- + lacking sodium or electrolytes = cramping especially once you lay down, a side effect for keto for some people, I added one zero sugar Gatorade a day and potassium 99 mg

    When u fasted for 16 hrs on ur fast days did you drink any protein shakes or drink any protein drinks. Fasting means not eating but it doesn't mean no drinking. What type of fast did u do? And did u drink anything besides water ? Thanks

    There’s a brand called “Healthy Life”, and it’s JUST the same as Sara Lee and all those other folk. They have whole grain wheat, white, honey wheat and sourdough. It’s 6g cards per slice. It’s heavenly.

    for a day, eat your maintenance calories you can search it up it will fix your metabolism and you will burn more calories which cause you to lose weight

    I’m 16 almost 17 tryna lose weight before my birthday, I started the keto on the “better me” app but they updated it to a new meal plan which isn’t going great for me....I wanna do my own meal plan but I have no idea how to do it so any advice would be helpful please🙏🏾

    Google 7 day keto meal plan and scroll down to if I breathe I'm hungry link. I used that site and MyFitnessPal to help my mom start keto, before I learned about fasting. It gives you different dishes to try. Now since I fast, my meals are simpler, meaning, I just eat meat and vegetables, and mostly the same meal every day for a week. I choose a protein ie. Chicken, fish, beef, eggs, or bacon and then some low carb vegetables, such as broccoli, cauliflower, spinach, lettuce, cabbage, yellow squash, brussel sprouts, and zucchini. I usually add some cheese and butter as well. It's easier to eat the Same thing because you don't have to recalculate the calories if you keep the meal consistent for a week. Fasting help with keeping things simple, because when you're hungry you'll eat whatever you can, so the same dish a few times a week looks more appealing. I hope this helps. Good luck.

    Hey I’m the same age and im getting great results by not counting calories (recovering from 2 EDs), low carb, high protein, mid fat, working out daily or at least 5-6 days a week, weight training with 10 mins of cardio before and after, 1 gallon of water a day, junk food in moderation, it’s honestly pretty easy and you can make it a lifestyle instead of a 3 month diet lol

    @@trinityv2432 Girl yesss...I just got this app called “LazyKeto” and another one called “KetoDiet” I’ve been taking recipes from both apps then I use the carb manager to put in my nutrition etc and I just got gym membership so I’m gone start working out Monday.
