Eating more carbs before bed, red meat, and calories in general, paired with sleeping better (which was a problem after a long cut), definitely has contributed to more normal testosterone levels and lower stress again. Definitely felt higher stress levels during the long cut before 🔥👌

I wouldn't assume your testosterone is going to notably decline in your 30s. My friend's a GP with a sport's performance related special interest and says he frequently sees naturally high test levels in lifelong athletes in their 40s, with very little drop off. The data is skewed by the fact that most people are unhealthy and / or carry excess fat (90% of the Western population are 'overfat' (a term which includes those who have a normal BMI because of a lack of muscle mass, but who are technically fat - aka skinny fat)). Adipose tissue = enzyme aromatase that converts testosterone to estradiol and leads to diminished testosterone levels that favour the preferential deposition of visceral fat. This is also one of the reasons why I don't think going 'bear mode', or going on a prolonged bulk, is a particularly good idea in terms of ageing well. You'll invariably end up with higher levels of visceral fat long before you begin to look notably fluffy.

For point 8: Semen retention, it actually works on the short term because testosterone increases when a guy is sexually aroused. However after ejaculation, testosterone levels will drop back down. Got this info from Dr Rena Malik, one of the best channels on men's sexual health on YT.

Thats a misconception due to the high rate of death during childbirth and childhood which drastically lowers the average life expectancy, the average person likely lived much older then 20. They were also riddled with parasites and didn't have access to modern medicine so that also contributed. The agricultural revolution only happened roughly 10,000 years ago which is really not that long ago at all, our bodies are still adapted around living a hunter gatherer lifestyle.

Masturbation has no effect on testosterone. More sun, better nutrition (less coffee, processed goods, excessive dairy products, no sugar, but add: green tea, vegetables, soy, nuts), proper sleep, less stress (really important), do cardio, develop ideal body weight, and avoid diabetes. But masturbation and no fap is an urban myth. Also, try to not age. ;) However, remember that a 40-year-old today has a 15% lower testosterone level compared to his father at the age of 40 years. Modern societies, products, environment, etc.

idk about the biochemistry but no fapping made me feel more energized, motivated, confident etc. jacking off everyday is not natural, and porn is certainly unhealthy

Sorry but that’s a coomer talking point (idk if you’re a coomer or not). I’m not at all against healthy frequencies of masturbation but excessive masturbation is one of the worst things you can do for your health. It’s even bad for teenagers and very young adult males. There is nothing natural about blowing your load every single day, 24/7, every year after you turn 12. Before Pr0n people just didn’t do that. It takes a lot energy to be aroused enough to beat off, especially without pr0n. With porn, many post-modern males just beat off everyday, not listening to their bodies natural cues to tell them to stop because they’re addicted. Next thing they know, they’re only 30 yo and have reproductive health of a 60 yo. If you have to watch porn in order to enjoy masturbating at the frequency you do it at, that’s a clear sign you need to take a couple months of a break. Human beings aren’t built to have real sex every single day, year round, every year. Even breeding bulls have to take 4 to 7 months off. So masturbating that much is 100% unnatural and will cause hormonal decline, hopefully not permanent

First off, soy damages testosterone by a LOT. That is the reason the term soy boy exists. Some people do not live in areas where there is a lot of sun so Vitamin D supplements can help with that. Masturbation does not directly lower testosterone but it most definitely does indirectly. When you masturbate you don't have energy or the motivation to do anything, therefore not being able to do the above because your life energy is leaving you. I've literally seen in real time the amount of motivation and wisdom I was starting to gain on no-fap but the instant I released my sexual energy again I lost all motivation to do stuff like worship God and even forgot to pray which when I was on nofap/semen retention I didn't forget even once.

@@RedditDilemma IMO excessive fapping is more than just testosterone. I think it causes full scale hormonal decline a d hormonal imbalance and corrupts physical and psychosocial development. IMO it also cause reproductive decline. I think porn is one of main reasons we see 35 yos needing on TRT in the post modern world. In addition, all that nonstop fapping everyday for years and years ages you faster.
