How I Improved My Eyesight With a Heavy Prescription and Astigmatism

    Astigmastism is based on the shape of your actual eye. So any inflammation in the eye can also affect your vision, so can vitamin deficiencies. It will have a base line "good as it gets," though.

  • @drcaitlinfaas

    @drcaitlinfaas

    Sure, Rodney! Toning or 'healing' the vagus nerve is all about doing activities that help it strengthen. I think of it like how we lift weights at the gym. Does lifting a dumbbell one time change our muscles? Maybe a tiny bit, but it's through repetitive lifting over time that tones those muscles. So I do my favorite activities to tone my vagus nerve - breathwork, chanting, cold exposure, etc! What's an activity you want to start incorporating for yourself, Rodney?

    How old are you? Remember after 40 the eyes tend to hypermetropize, and what happened to you might be due to natural causes instead of the whole thing you describe, especially if you don't lower your prescription and the eyes just "get better" by themselves.

    @@drcaitlinfaas I think "dimebag108" is exactly right. Because you were quite myopic now as your nearing 40 your eyes are beginning to become hyperopic which usually does naturally reduce your myopia. So this video was done two years ago and by now you very well could be wearing bifocals or progressives. So it's wonderful that your distance eyesight has been improving but most likely as a trade off since you now need an add in your glasses for your near vision.
