I've been HIV for well over 30 years. I'm now almost 70 y.o. and living very well. One thing I have learned the hard way: Don't ever tell anyone your status unless absolutely necessary. Keep life simple :))))

Thank you for sharing your story. I volunteer at GMHC (Gay Men's Health Crisis Center). I was inspired to volunteer after seeing the play, The Normal Heart, about the AIDS epidemic in the 80's and the creation of GMHC in response. I teach yoga there and we have all become such a family. I have always been drawn to people that overcome struggle and really think you are courageous and thank you again for sharing your story.

Honestly, I do it for for a couple of reasons. The most important thing is to show that I am still a regular person in life but just dealing with some changes. I do these videos also for individuals who are recently or have been diagnosed and who need someone to relate to. I also do this to educate others on HIV. You would be so surprised on how educated people are. I took some classes on HIV, did some reading/research, and have been blessed with the ability to be so brave in this process.

I watched the whole video. Man! Held up my time in which I should be doing other things, but it was worth it. Wow! I honestly do not know what to say right now. I just want you to know that it was touching. I guess for me, the soft spot is knowing that you got infected so young. I don't think many people are aware of the after-shock of finding out. Hence, they engage in unprotected sex. Continue to share your story and educate us all. Thank you. [I will be watching more of your vids . . . i subscribed, :)]

I had my first sexual experience last week from a masseur. He performed anal penetration but he didn’t ejaculate at all. I’m still worried and within 72 hours, i obtained PEP and taking it for 5 days now. I’m just wondering what’s your take on the chance of transmission if he didn’t ejaculate? I asked him after if he’s HIV negative and he kept on stating he’s a clean man. I didn’t want to take the chance and will keep on taking Biktarvy.

I will not commend your lifestyle but I urge you to spend some serious alone time thinking about what will happen to your soul in eternity if you leave this life without getting right with God. Repentance is a good thing: to be sorry to God about doing things your way instead of respecting His Sovereignty and will. I don't hate you if I didn't care I wouldn't say anything. Sweetie being gay is a sin so is smoking and a lot other things. Please don't continue to damn your soul ask Jesus' Father .
