But I wanted to give you a super up close and personal view, so you all have a better understanding for how the E-Z fletch jig works. So here it is! R HELICAL AZ easy fletch, is an excellent tool. I use a qtip on the closed EZ Fletch, right between each vain jig and it takes any excess glue spreading it along the edge of the vain and makes for an awesome super durable bond.

    I use a tight helical. I don’t believe it matters unless your a target shooter. And yeah both versions of the e-z fletch work great

    Building your own arrows is addictive, im constantly buying and Building new arrows for tac, 3d and hunting and play with all different components, vanes, wraps and vane configurations. The primer pen breaks down the max vane compound and allows the glue to penetrait the the molecules, it only last for a short period of time, so if someone were to prime all 36 vanes before doing 12 arrows only the first 3-6 vanes would adhere properly. Good video.

    Is there any cost benefits to fetching your own arrows (not including equipment/tool costs)? I imagine it's more so like reloading to fine tune/customize your stuff rather then save money.

  • @Foreverbowhunting84

    @Foreverbowhunting84

    Yeah that’s why I pretty much do it. Also because most shops will not square and align everything properly. It may or may not save you money, but you get that satisfaction knowing you built them exactly how you wanted.

    Unfortunately you can’t with the E-Z fletch. It’s got a strong helical, which I like. I forgot the degree it’s at. It’s already preset/built into jig. It really helps to control those Broadhead’s in my opinion

    If you put tiny drops…..6-7 per vane…then you won’t have to waste all that excess that you wiped with the qtip. 6-7 drops and smooth out with tip of glue bottle. If you use AAE primer pen …….best glue is Loctite Ultra Gel Control!

    With so little free time available, way easier to buy them pre-fletched, but still need to cut them to length and glue in inserts. Will probably shoot just as well as arrows you build yourself.
