I’ve always been scared to cut my hair on my own, usually my sister does it, but I really needed it done and this gave me the confidence to just go for it, I even added in some face framing pieces which I’ve never done but always wanted and I am so happy with the result. I really feel like myself and I think dry cutting was definitely the way to go, thank you so much ☺️

i just cut off like, 14 inches of hair to donate and i used this tutorial to fix the blunt cut at home and o m g, so easy to follow, it was so even, and even with some front parts that were uneven, i figured it out, and my hair feels amazing, looks amazing, i am so happy 💥 i don’t think i have to go out to a salon anymore :D money saved 💪💥

I tried cutting my hair with this tutorial. I admit that first time in my life I am so happy with the result. Of course it is not perfect but I don’t mind going out with it. In the past I had cut my hair twice but right after I cut my hair I have to go to hair dresser to fix for what I did 😂 but now don’t need to go anywhere and happy how is turn out! turned out pretty nice! i've also been cutting my hair throughout the year especially during this quarantine. only go to the salon once a year for treatment.

I began cutting my own curtain bangs last year, and haven’t went to a salon since. My hair is just about the length of your hair beforehand, but I’m looking to cut my hair shorter than you did. I haven’t done a haircut on myself other than curtain bangs so I’m hoping this doesn’t go terribly… using rather sharp kitchen scissors and teeny hair trimming scissors lol.

Been cutting my hair more or less this way for a year. I have a lot of hair so also use thinning shears. Works well to add some wave with flatiron or velcro rollers.

Janice - I kept trying to get the mobile hairdresser, who sent a flyer out, here in France but she never replied after leaving messages with her partner. Perhaps she is frightened of covid - so I resorted to this and glad I did. I used fabric scissors - as lost my hairdressing ones in the house move! Will get some as you suggested. Now looks a lot better!
