I think that’s a bit of a myth, I’m a redhead and I’ve got loads of greys. Under my dye of course. 😆

Hi, I've got one of those but I find barrel curlers work better for me now that my hair is longer 💕 Have you tried Vitamin C tablets crushed to powder in mixer & add cheap head & shoulders or other clarifying shampoo to get the colour out? I used a colour remover a few months ago & the smell was awful for about a month. I've decided to have foils done at hairdressers but I'd put a lilac semi on, plus used a Bleach London shampoo that does change colour {I've got old bleach in the bottom half of my hair}. It was a cross between lilac & a green colour in places & really dark. The hairdresser said I'd have to get it lighter for her to do what I wanted. I whizzed up a pot of Vit C tabs 200mg {65 tabs}, added the shampoo & fairy liquid then left for about an hour, maybe a bit longer. I washed my hair after with my normal shampoo & conditioner & couldn't believe that no only the colour had gone but my hair was so soft & has stayed soft. I decided to try it again, cz I had some other Vit C tabs in, thinking I might get it even lighter - they were effervescent lol 😂 You can imagine when I added the cheap Tesco head & shoulders. I felt like a witch brewing a potion only it was pouring over the dish 😂🙈 I got it on my hair asap & left a few hours. It was lovely & soft but I didn't really need to do it & my hair smelt lovely. I watched a few videos on it & for me it worked. It's much better & cheaper than colour remover imho 🥰 If you try it, good luck 🍀 I hope that it works for you 🤞🏻Take care & tfs 🤗🤗 xxx 🌈

Do you have the switch on your curler that says "R L A" ? This is how you can change the direction of the curl, the curls can go to the tight, left, or the curl secret can alternate them. Thanks for the video.

Very hard curling hair. I’ve bought all different appliances and like yourself I end up tying it back which defeats the purpose of the look I want and it’s taken an hour to do it.

This looks scary and would probably wreck my waist length hair! Have you ever tried any heat free curl/wave methods? Thick bendy rollers give wonderful soft old Hollywood style waves if you are prepared to sit around with them on for a good few hours. It’s definitely worth the effort and zero damage. Would be interested to see a video of you trying all the amazing, weird & wacky heat free methods you see here on YT 🌸

Yes, tried everything! Bendy rollers last week, it looked terrible and frizzy. I did 2 videos on my headband curls, they are the best but don't seem to come out as well nowadays, maybe now my hair is growing a bit.... x

Did you try not using any product in your hair at first ? I 😍 mine and It holds the curl till I wash it and I would consider my hair fine and about the same length as yours

I know the machine says not to use product in your hair with it as it clogs up in the curler.

How long does it take to curl all you hair? You are very patient with those small sections.

Just put it in a pony tail high on the head and you just pull a good strand and go. Takes minutes as you don’t have all the sectioning. No other hair gets In the way. This way and all the curls are uniform. Clip roughly all the curls to the top of head. Let cool thoroughly. Let loose and run fingers through it. Put pony back and wrap into a loose bun. Then style as usual whenever. Also in a pony tail it is quick to brush each sectionwith no straggly bits. You also can see if you have missed any easily. My hair is very long.

Ha you put it in a pony afterwards. Do it the other way and you will not have to put it up when finished as it gives you a smother effect on top. I use mine 3 times a week.

I don't like my hair in a pony/bun lol, only this kind of half pony - If I do put my hair in a bun I don't really need to curl my hair as its thick enough :0) As its so thick, trying to curl it whilst in a pony means I only get the very ends of my hair. xx

The Beauty Maverick no you are only putting it in a rough bun to hold the curl a bit longer. Then when you’re ready to go out, you whip it out, just a little shuzzing and you have curls that will last longer and a much smother top so you don’t need a half pony.
