If you love celtx then your love joplin! You can throw everything into it, it's like evernote but it's open source (free! ) you can create characters and stories and put them in joplin creating a character database with links and notes and other plug-ins you can add to it! Also you can add pdf, any text or document, pictures, music or audio, movies everything goes! Any digital assets you have you can put it in joplin. You can backup things, and can export to many outlet such as html, pdf, csv and few other. You can also use an A.I. to help you with this and also to create tables and markdown codes! Joplin is markdown base platform which gives more power and it's not hard to use. You be able to catalogue characters and stories as you work with layers of folders upon layers! You just can't go wrong with this!

Okay, so you have some awesome tips and methods on how to create your own animation, and you are a "sound engineer." Can you please help make this content more enjoyable by doing some sound engineering and edit out all your "ums" and "ahs"?? I get it, English isn't your main language but you ARE proficient enough to have a conversation in it so, you have to know how incredibly distracting and annoying all those extra (needless) noises are. And what in the world we're all those random sounds in the background towards the end?! Buddy, seriously, EDIT your own video's audio before throwing it online. Write out a simple script just like you showed us; have an idea of what you're going to say... and then read it; Don't ad-lib, READ!! I love all the incredible knowledge you share here and I will definitely be applying it, but I can't imagine suffering through your verbal stumbling for an entire hour again. And that makes me sad because I can't even share this video with other artists because I know they won't be able to get past the poor audio preparation and narration. I hope you're a strong enough man to hear this as if your best friend is giving you the same advice because I'm not trying to tear you down, I'm sharing my honest experience. If you're going to put yourself out there to a big audience, you have to be very honest with them AND yourself. I know you'll do better in future videos... and I look forward to seeing them. (As long as you don't respond with some ridiculous rant that justifies the poor audio quality you provided here.) 😎👍

Hi, thank you for your honest opinion. And no, there is no harsh feelings from my side. I value honest critique because that is the only way one can improve. I am not here to make excuses, but I am a sound engineer, not a video editor or producer. I love animation from childhood and I made this dream a reality. And so I want to share my journey and what I have learned with other people that may also find themselves where I was. Am I a KZreadr? No I am not and I HAVE A LOT TO LEARN and a LOT OF AREAS TO IMPROVE on. With that I can't agree with more. But even though my English aren't the best and I don't have a lot of confidence being in front of a camera, KZread is a great tool to share your knowledge with people. You can't show people animation principles like squash and stretch in a blog. So video is the best medium. And how do I read off a script if I have to focus on what I am drawing in front of me, or doing screen sharing? So as it stand I kinda have to do these videos "off-script". As a sound engineer for nearly 20 years I can tell you that my early music was terrible and I am embarred to play it to people. 20 years later I have received 9 award nominations and won 2 of them here in South Africa. When you keep working on your craft you WILL GET BETTER OVER TIME. And that I know. And as someone that is not a KZreadr and doesn't edit videos or know much about lighting, I am learning and listening to my latest videos on this channel, you will see that they sound a lot better (but those uhms and ahhs are still there. lol). I learned and made adjustments. I am learning a lot about video production and just like my sound engineering career, I know that I will improve with my videos. But with that said, gaining confidence to speak better in front of a camera will take time. That is not something I can simply learn. I will only get better the more I do it. To be honest, I really do enjoy making these videos and share what I have learned in animating with other people. So I have two options. Continue with what I am doing knowing that I will still be terrible at it for a while and slowly improve. Or quit... For now, I choose to continue and learn. But thank you again for your honest message. I really appreciate it. Blessings

Great explaining and break down of the process, I always knew that it would be a big task to animate myself and I want to give it a try because I have such a clear vison of what I want to complete but I'm still a little daunted by all the programs and areas of production that are unfamiliar to me. I would love to follow you if you are on Instagram for more advise :)
