I have had a very on and off relationship with coding. But I realised now, that the time my life had the most structure was when I was coding. I am definitely gonna get my head stuck in and fully commit to this . I also need to retake high school maths, so that the qualification won't get in the way of me getting hired. I have been dealing with depression, I think now, I am realising that my life may the have ups and downs. But what will make it easier is the ambition to see my life through. So thanks for the boost.

Of course you need some basic math concepts, like calculus or algebra, or logic, but the very basics if it.but even if your bad in math you still can learn and do code :)

Glad I found this channel. I started that very same course just over a month ago and I've been making websites like I never would have believed. My background in programming is basically using Gamemaker, which I learnt when I was 12 (I'm 30 now lol). Always struggled with learning new stuff but something's different this time, things are sinking in. I'm probably going to soon be unemployed and so I've been looking into bootcamps and it's ridiculously overwhelming wading through all the options. The one thing I feel like I'd really miss from a bootcamp is group work experience and career support, but at least I know there's another way so I have no need to rush into anything.

Really cool video ! Im in a tough situation right now which has kinda to do with the „get a software engineering job without degree“.. Im studying in Germany a bachelors degree called straight software engineering .. and im really really good in all classes ... except my law classes I don’t know why we have law classes but this is just something I’m probably too dumb for .. And I really learn every day for this classes even though I already failed once ... And this huge amount of time I put in this classes holds me back from doing math and software engineering and getting better at it I have 2 more attempts to make the law classes but I feel like I should think about ways to get a software engineering job if worst case scenario: I fail those law classes and therefore don’t get my degree .. Im also doing plenty of internships .. to get my foot in the door but yeah ... ^^ I try my best lol Edit: I also successfully finished an online course in programming fundamentals offered by Duke University for free a year ago .. hope this will help me in my future
