This is why 10x developer gets paid a bazillion amount more than average, they solve problems nobody did yet. (By copy pasting correct code from github then modify it through copy pasting from another works in the right order, ten times.) I use Arch btw.

This meme is so overblown. The job is knowing know HOW to step logically through every individual problem to engineer a robust enough solution that will work with each of its parts, the stack overflow aspect is merely finding the syntax or strategy in that weird language or quirky OS lib you have to use for this one part of it. You don’t see architects out here re-inventing the equations needed to account for load either - it’s literally the same thing, they get paid because they know how to determine which structures and equations are appropriate and where. Edit: when I say “architect” I mean architectural/structural engineers

Pc is only for gaming. My camera works with whatever is plugged into the usbc which is usually either my work laptop or my content creation laptop

With just two clicks and a voice request, I can get a compile list of daily local and national news, and trending topics, or whatever other news I want, usually under 30 secs. That's much faster and less effort than trying to do the same on my phone
