@@JeremiahPeoples can you share which group you were speaking to? I used to work on a college campus helping clubs and student orgsnizations put on their events and running student engagement like welcome back to campus, International nights, selecting all the snacks to hand out during mid terms and finals, movie nights plus chaperoning conferences. We took 20 cs and tech students to Defcon in Vegas. I volunteer at CodeDay. I'd like to support them on their socials💕

@@JeremiahPeoples thank you💕
Congratulations on the wedding Jeremiah! I love the part of the video where you went to UTA to speak to the students. I try to do the same with our university students here in Papua New Guinea, as many of them graduate without really any idea of what the industry is like, expectations, and how to best prepare themselves to join the workforce. I think the onus is on those of us who've been successful in carving out our own paths into the tech industry to give back and help those coming up.
Congratulations 🥂 on the wedding and SUPER awesome video. 🎊 🎉

I enjoy your lifestyle, day in the life of a software engineer and tech content. I hope to meet you in person one day. 😊
Honestly I want more software related content. Like what languages, stacks and tools to learn to become a better engineer. The lifestyle content can be extra content. It should be more focused on software development. I hope you understand what I’m trying to say
Ah, I see we have a new CEO in the making! 🤭

Question for a beginner trying to enter the field, which laptop or computer desktop do you recommend? Or the set up
@JeremiahPeoples

hmmm i'll make a short about this. I'd say a 15" Macbook air or a 16" macbook pro. I bought mine 4 years ago and it's still working perfectly
More content for the nebies who are struggling ??
I need some advice, I am a high school I want to go into a computer related career but I don't know if I should. I usually struggle with simple coding and the language I mainly know is Python (which so far I have heard is not the best) and would it be worth it to continue down this path? The job market seems very competitive and with companies laying off workers left and right so I don't know how people would recognize me. I could land a job with an Air Force base if I take certain coding classes but then what? I guess I just came here to rant about my worries for the future but I just want to do better so companies will reconize me more and so I won't feel like an idiot when trying to make very basic code

Would you recommend course careers for software development?
Hey Jeremiah - CourseCareers sent you an email about a paid partnership. Let me know what you think.
Hi Jeremiah, I'm currently beginning to learn software engineering by myself. Any help on which course to start with?
