How did you manage to use a telescope filter on a lens?

i took the tightening screw and the glass element off the filter and hot glued it to the back of my kit lens
i also use linux what software do you recommend for stacking planetary and deep sky?

I can't really recommend stacking software since I use all my stacking on windows, but I use SIRIL, or Deep sky stacker. OaCapture is a good one or if you want to pay, you can use Pixinsight on linux
