watching these videos you've posted over the last day or so has made me consider buying this game. Looks like a lot of fun. Currently playing through dark souls 2 sotfs and nioh. Can you comment on how the difficulty compares to those two ?

Glad you enjoyed my vids. Unfortunately this one was less popular than the others. HZD is worth it's $60 price tag, and so much more. Unfortunately I can't comment as to Dark Souls/Nioh/Monster Hunter as I've never played them. What I can say, from reading comments from my previous vids, is that the mechanics are a lot alike: Rolling/evading/enemies being "bullet sponges" at higher difficulties/good ole RPG elements.

I saw that the complete edition just released this week, so I think I'll pick it up once it goes on sale (there must be one coming up soon with Christmas and the new year coming up).

Yep, it's great dodging! Truth be told, even I was surprised I didn't take any damage. Certainly easier than fighting the Thunderjaw.

If you are looking for more fun I suggest you do it in game+ ultra hard

Yeah, I've started a New Game+, but I wasn't necessarily interested enough to play the entire game over again and stopped.

Mr. Apocryphal for more motivation: the max damage of your weapons is reduced in game+ ultra hard. (250 to 175 for max damage of Banuk PowerShot bow for example) Robots might be even more aggressive and endure more damage but I can't confirm this one without research

These always come in pairs. Wait until the first fireball is in the air; don't roll when the arm is still scooping the fire up because the Fclaw will track wherever you go. Once you've dodged the second one, repeat for the second but in a totally opposite direction. I like to go right, then left. Also, remember to avoid the splash damage.
