I consider myself to be pretty BA at this game, but I can only dream of being as good as you. HOLY COW! :O How many hours have you logged? I know how much patience and skill it takes to master a game, but I'm just curious...

Wow, thank you very much! ~240 hours, give or take some. I jumped in to the Frozen Wilds at around 215-220, so I already had some considerable experience putting the hurt on machines (Doesn't mean I didn't get my ass kicked repeatedly the first 6-7 hours, though). The key to my gameplay is staying mobile at all times. A still Aloy is a dead Aloy. Make use of any available space and distance; time your rolls/dives/slides correctly and the game will take care of the rest and reward you. Use whatever weapons you want. I stick to relatively normal bows (Hardpoint/Sharpshot) versus exotic weapons *Elemental/Slings/Rattlers) 'cause I'm comfortable with them. Hope this helps!

Very cool. Yeah I’ve been playing for around 200 hours myself. I think I’ll try the constant movement thing. Seems legit. Lol I’m pretty set timing my dodges though. Being a Monster Hunter veteran will do that to you. ;) As always, I thank people for replying to a question and also thank them for uploading stellar content. So thank you very much. :D

Great videos. I started on Hard and am currently playing on Very Hard, but definitely aiming of ultra hard after watching your videos. If you like HZD enough to put 250 hours in I highly recommend you check out Monster Hunter World. The combat system takes a minute to get used to but there's nothing like killing a monster with your friends then making weapons and armor out of its body. The Beta is out on Saturday, so you can get a taste!

Yep, Haywood Jablome's correct. Looks so cool, but the rumor is that Guerrilla Games didn't use the correct body for Aloy when they installed it into the game.

Where was aratuk and oraea (spelling?). Or do these guys respawn and you can fight them again?

Oh, good question! So for this part of the map, you had two options: head-on (this one) or stealth. First time, I did stealth. After I beat the story, I came back and realized the head-on option was still available, resulting in this vid here. Unfortunately, the machines didn't respawn after this. Sucks, 'cause 2 Scorchers and 1 Behemoth are the bomb.

Super late bro but was you making this harder on purpose? You have tools that would've been helpful but you really only used arrows and the trip caster (to an extent). I know you used other's but it was just barely. No sling. No ropecaster. That's why I'm assuming you were purposely making it harder. Either way it was awesome dude!

Not my idea of fun! Besides, you're gonna need more than 6 Tripwires to kill Daemonic Scorchers and Behemoths--might as well take 'em on face-to-face.
