Hey great video. Can I please just check one thing. So the only document that needs to be submitted before the lottery process starts is the electronic registration. Only when selected then one must start submitting all the other documents like LCA and the Form I-129. Thanks for the answer.

Can my petition be filed with old cancled passport as new application is taking long time to process for police verification. Any suggestion will be helpful

Once USCIS accepts your petition, they won't refund the fees. The refund is possible only when it was rejected initially due to incorrect or incomplete filing.

Its because those companies dont pay taxes in US but pay off the politicians to get h1b workers at cheap. But they also make h1b workers work in worse conditions than India and also fire them at a whim. Also USCIS issues too many RFEs specifically to Indians nowadays

Pettitions for Registeration should be submitted before 19th March, Lottery picking happens usually between March 20th-31st dates.

If I am understanding it correctly, all the required documents are sent/uploaded(?) only if one gets selected in the lottery?

If your registration status is still submitted and if you change the company, you wouldn't be able to carry that to the new company. You don't have to pay 15 lacs tho.

@@WeDesified thanks for clarification, Actually we signed some deputation agreement related to H1 Visa, and now they said you can't leave till the result is out , or else you to pay 2 lacs for reliving. one more thing please clarify here, what is total expand by employer for one candidate ?? I think it is more than 10 $ as they said like 3k$ or 4k$ approx.

You can register for the lottery but you get your passport renewed by the time you file your petition.

H1-b is like a title assigned to the slave, which the American employer owns, the slave does not own the H1-b. In order to move to serve a new master. The slave will have to request a H1-b transfer from the new master and then go serve him. Notice; The H1-b visa does not belong to the slave, the H1-b visa sponsorship/control/ownership is held by the American master, always. You don't own the H1-b, the H1-b owns you, and your American master(sponsor) owns the H1-B 🤣

If you are sure about your H1B approval, you can skip the Stem extension. But we'd recommend to get the extension as stem extensions are safer than H1B approvals and if your H1B is denied for some reason, you still get one more year to retry.

It also depends if your current opt expires before oct 1st then you will need stem opt to continue working until your h1B start date
