Well when you have a prime KDB and Gundogan in your squad you need to adapt and had to shift on to the wing which has developed his game.

My unpopular opinion is that Phil isn't playing much better than he has in the past. He's just getting more minutes and playing in his natural position. The fact that he never played as a winger in the academy and took Sterling and Sane's spot is a testament to his ability

They should both start 4 england. Declan 6 no double pivot. Bellingham at 8 and foden at 10 and let's go at teams. Gareth too defensive.

Correct no double pivot just Declan Rice. Then Bellingham at 8 and Foden at 10. Go for the throat. No one could cope with that midfield

He hasn’t really unlocked him he’s just actually had to play him Now KDB and players were sold in the summer Foden always had this quality if anything pep has held him back

Pep doesn't hold people back. The seasons are incredibly long, and the gap between em is incredibly short. You have to manage players, 38 games in the league nvm 3 other competitions. If you played everyone willy nilly they'd be injured in no time 🤡

Exactly this. Foden has had these exact same world class periods of "wow, he's been unlocked" about 4 times now in his young career. Before long he'll be relegated to the bench again until Pep "unlocks" him again next year.

He’s gonna be one hell of a player in 5 years time, the complete package
