Hitting rock bottom, I think this is what my husband needs to do as well. I'm also the only one wanting the restoration but Jesus is so good. I'm sad I have to go through this storm but I'm grateful because now I know Jesus on a much stronger level.

@Dan I’m going through a Divorce too. I’m trying so hard to get her back in church hoping he can change things but that’s not what she wants. We met in second grade. I chased her all through school but didn’t get anywhere. After college we started hanging and one thing led to another. 18 years later and two teenage girls were getting a divorce. I’m heartbroken and having the hardest time letting go. She is my soul mate, my best friend and she won’t even talk to me anymore. I hope you’re doing better than you were a month ago.

Amen! 16 years and 3 kids and my wife asked for divorce and did not stop til she got it. She said there was no other solution. Did not want counselling or therapy. Devastating. It has been a year already. Please Pray for my broken family. I am from a different continent and have no family or close friends here so I am facing the hard decision to go back home. I came here for her.

It is but you're not truly alone...Your Savior is right there beside you and He will never leave you. He will grt you thru this no matter the outcome. Im can relate to this story so much except its the opposite kind of way that things panned out. I had been leading a life of sin and my wife was a believer, after so many years of me dragging her down and into sin, arguing and me being to proud and to apologize alot of times she finally gave up on us. This friday wouldve made 2 years but now the papers have been filed and were waiting for our court date I have now decided that regardless of what happens for my life to change for the better i need to put my faith into gods hands and i have become an active believer, If we are reunited I will never take a love sent to me by god for granted again I pray for all going through this rough season and I I ask for anyone who reads this to pray for me as well to stay strong in my faith❤

I tried to hold on to my marriage of almost 25 years as she pressed forward in divorce. I know that at first, the Lord did instruct me to not sign any papers. However, when I finally did, it was revealed to me that I was directed by Him not for keeping our marriage together but because He knew that I would sign but it was about me getting to that point. There had to be a catalyst for me to finally make the decision to let go and there was. When I was served, I filed a counterclaim which made the divorce look like it was contested. Her lawyer filed a cert of discovery...27 pages and 79 paragraphs of demands for production of docs and information. One of the things they asked for was my personal journals that had my thoughts and prayers and things the Lord had done for me and my family inside. That was the catalyst for my decision to let go. I was NOT going to allow my relationship with the Lord to be paraded and trashed before a court room just to be married to her. I asked Him what to do and I heard "just let go..." I asked him what that meant...I heard it again and I fully knew what He was asking me to do. I felt like Jesus in Gethsemane and asked if there was any other way and for Him to show me but no matter, His will be done. I was on my face for several hours crying to Him telling Him that I didn't want to sign but that I needed Him to give me the courage to trust Him and His plan even though I wasn't sure of His plan. I finally got the nerve to sign but it took 30+ mins to put the pen to the paper. As soon as I gave her the signed and notarized papers, I had that peace He talks about in the Bible. I hadn't felt that since the beginning of our storm. The divorce was finalized by the judge and I found out in an email the next day. I had to get to a point where I knew I had to let go and the Lord lead me there. He knows my heart was NOT for it but like what was said in your video, the Lord cannot be stopped by a worldly piece of paper...He has the final say!! So now, I wait for Him....

The roles are reversed in my marriage separation. I hope the Lord reveals to my husband that I'm not 100% to blame for everything and that he comes to that realisation and wants to reconcile for our 3 beautiful girls who are suffering greatly. We all need the Lord at the centre of our lives.

My wife and I were getting documents ready for our boy’s passport to go to on vacation, we have been separated for 11 months. Originally she was going to go, at the end of the night before I left her house she said she was thinking about not going. She was crying and said she feels bad because she knows it hurt me when she said that. All I said was I’m trusting God and to let me know if you change your mind. Any thoughts on what’s going on in her mind? I know it’s a spiritual battle, but what do I do? Thank you 🙏🏼

Maybe I'm out of line but she seems like she's angry at him. A bit contemptuous of him. Maybe I'm wrong here. She struggles to forgive him.

I think they referring to God as the imaginary friend. Their story proves He isn't imaginary.
