How George Harrison Wrote 'Here Comes the Sun' Explained!

Музыка

Did you know? George Harrison wrote 'Here Comes the Sun' after facing legal troubles and personal challenges in 1969. Inspired by the arrival of spring and a visit with Eric Clapton, Harrison completed the song in Sardinia, later recording it with the Beatles for Abbey Road, where it became one of the most streamed songs of the decade. #herecomesthesun #georgeharrison #thebeatles #beatles #beatlessong #explained #musicfacts #musichistory #historyfacts #1960smusic

The best songs usually cone from a place of deep pain. I didn’t know this story but now the song makes way more sense.

Interestily, this was one of the first uses of the Moog synthesizer in pop music. The hand-wired device had a flaw in the keyboard circuitry and so the pitch dropped at the end of the musical line. “It’s began years since it’s been here”!!

George was a very spiritual man. A real talent that was suppressed by John and Paul.. His songs were the best

In the later years of The Beatles it became apparent that George's songwriting abilities were in par with Lennon and McCartney. When he was on Saturday Night Live and played a medley of songs with Paul Simon just them with acoustic guitars they sounded incredible. He was just an exceptional person.

The notorious Sgt. Norman Pilcher of the Drugs Squad took his time-honored strategy of planting a massive wad of hashish in Kinfauns, George and Pattie's home, arriving with gangs of cops and a police dog named Yogi--another button pushed. Pilcher had already busted John Lennon, Mick Jagger, Eric Clapton, and Brian Jones, but the extra sting in Harrison's raid was that it fell on Paul McCartney's wedding day. Pilcher claimed to have found the brick of hash in one of George's shoes. George's response? "I'm a tidy man. I keep my socks in my sock drawer and stash in the stash box. It's not mine."
