How flow trails are built | Build & Ride in Hot Springs, Arkansas

Спорт

This video was sponsored by the Arkansas Department of Parks and Tourism. I decided to link up with the trail crew working on the newest mountain bike trail system there, the Northwoods. The folks at IMBA Trail Solutions were kind enough to let me be a fly on the wall as they
laid the final sections of trail before opening.

Hey Phil I know you and Seth have both done videos about what makes a good entry level mountain bike. Thanks to those tips, I purchased a MTB 1 year ago but it has a SR SUNTOUR Fork and it clearly explains in a warning sign in the fork that I should not be jumping with this bike. After a year riding, I have improved tremendously. I am even learning how to jump but I need a better bike. Can you and/or Seth do a video of what components are important in a bike to do some jumps and ride more aggressive. It doesn't necessarily has to be a full suspension it could also be a hardtail. Thank you!!!

Not enough people understand how much work goes into building these things! You see the pros drifting around, although they usually maintain their local trails. The big problem is the people who blindly copy them and don't ever help. We need more capable trail builders!

I live an hour from Bentonville. The trails all around northwest Arkansas are insane and there are many BMX and pump tracks like the one that hosted the RedBull Pump Track World Series. I’m only 25 minutes away from that track and there are loads of trails to ride on a whim. Keep promoting these things, a lot of people think the processes put into building the trails are very interesting... rock on dude

Incredibly well done, Seth! We are so lucky here in Arkansas to have all of this MTB trail development going on and it just keeps getting better everyday. Hot Springs has been in dire need of an attraction and I think this new network of trails is going to be a great boost.
