Same here and then there she was . an 06 night rod perfect because I have short legs so the mid controls put me in perfect position

Man this video gets me hyped up about owning my night rod and how much when you own one you cant help but hammer it down

If you didn't know already the Vrod can do "no lift shifts" So you can power shift with out using the clutch.

I just bought a ‘11 muscle, 6’3 210lbs lol

I have yet to try it, but I've heard the fastest 0-60s require you speed shift that 1-2 upshift by lightly tugging up on the shift lever with you toe and then letting the rev limiter cut the power just long enough to slip it into the next gear - all without having to back off on the throttle. You also need to get the revs up to around 6K and dump the clutch to get the best hole shot. I've always figured 3.5 seconds is certainly doable under the right conditions. Keep up with the vids. They make my day.

I agree! Clutchless shifting is the way to go if I was really trying to get after it! The bike is almost 10 years old and probably still has the stock clutch in it so I didn't want to get to crazy trying to get the 0-60 🤣 But you're right! Thank you for always watching and commenting 🤟🏾

I would agree but remember how he slipped the gear mine does that from time to time you really have to get the pressure right with your toe its not quite as smooth of shifter as a sport bike

I have 2005 cvo screamin eagle mint.dyno tuned pushed out 136 hp and96 tq. And few upgrades well made bike good vid brother.

Glad I found this vid.. I asked on another what's the top speed u have seen on this bike. For a sec I thought my 1200 Sportster maybe as fast on the 0-100. I think I'm one sec behind you but I haven't done a official time test but I did just post a 0-100 on it. Take a look and you tell me? LOL 🤣

That's TOUGH! The V-Rod is an all around better bike...as in it does multiple things well. The R1 is very one sided but it does that one thing its supposed to do VERY VERY WELL haha. The R1 was something I dreamt of when I first got into riding (back when they had just came out), but I was a broke college student at the time. When I was finally able to afford one it felt like I accomplished a huge goal of mine. So the R1 serves as like a trophy/reminder to keep grinding for what you want...to answer your question I'd have to keep the R1. But for most people I'd recommend the muscle! Shut up and take my money 💰 Damn it man I love the v rod muscle never owned one and I have a Suzuki 109 but watching this vid makes me want the v rod sooo bad ..

I have a 1993 Suzuki GSX 1100 G that will eat this bikes lunch !! see how long it takes to wind this bike in each gear,,forever !! may be the fastest Harley but that as you know isn't saying much, but I do love Harleys

2006 screaming eagle Vrod is my all time favorite. Pearl yellow w Vance and Hines shorty exhaust

Sad story. U have 1st gear for 0-60 but u not using it. Shift only in red zone. This thing is faster than u think. You shifting up too early..

Absolutely laughable numbers compared to a Triumph Rocket. You Harley riders are so cute, lol.

100 mph and minivan was still pulling out on him 😂😂
