Fastlane D - what handlebars are installed on ur V-Rod? i have a 2012 and don't like the riding position.

I got a 2013 vrod muscle, installed a pathfinder LED lamp. Now my red key light on the speedo lit up, and sometimes my turn signals flash and the hyper flashed! Sometimes turn signals not working at all. Did you have same issues?

Hey man, I got a 2012 v-rod and I agree with you the head light sucks. Was thinking of changing it and was looking on Amazon. Thanks for making this video now I no which one to use. 💯🤙

I used one of the Amazon headlights, cost me $50 and after a few months it is still working great, plus you can get multiple different colors.

Glad to see you made the swap. Pardon the pun, but it's night and day. One of the original reviews of the V-Rod Muscle, done by Lemmy at Revzilla, suggested both the headlight and pegs had to go. I followed his advice and ditched the headlight and stubby OEM pegs. Other than that, it's stock. You can't improve on the Mona Lisa, ditto on the V-Rod.

@@FastLaneD I purchased some Roland Sands Moto pegs, black, 45 degree mount for the V-Rod fronts. They really extend out a bit, but since they're tapered don't affect lean angle.

I think buying the cheaper amazon light would make an amazing comparison video when compared to the new hogwarts light! I’ve been torn on what to choose because the stock headlight is honestly just dangerous 😂. Awesome video man!

That'd definitely be a worthwhile video! I was in the same boat as you and knew I wouldn't be disappointed spending a little more money for a high quality light. The mixed reviews on the amazon lights made me a little hesitant 😅 But I agree, the stock headlight is just a hazard! Haha thank you for watching 🤘🏾

FastLaneD RIGHT! The reviews were anywhere from “best headlight ever” to “help this headlight exploded when I plugged it in and now my house has been reduced to ash” Haha, but on a serious note I think I’ll go with your recommendation for the hogwarts headlight, seems pretty bright!

Good stuff bro. I’m looking to upgrade to a V Rod at some point in the near future they’re are absolutely beautiful. Have you had any major issues with the bike since buying it (engine, tedious maintenance?) Ride safe! Also how tall are you? I’m 6’4” so comfort is concern for me

The roads are vantastic bikes, the quality of the components is excellent, the only issue I have had its with the keyless ignition. When I switched to LED turn signal lights, my keyless ignition security device did not like the change in the voltage. Other than that, the engine is unbelievable. You should ride different types of you rides as when I wrote a V-Rod Muscle, I found it to be uncomfortable, I got a standard 2008 V Rod and the seat is super comfortable like an ice cream scoop. Also, the bars on the V-Rod Muscle are different and they were uncomfortable to me.

I just ordered my led vrod headlight! $95 on eBay.

You need to cut the ridiculous music from the background noise

Like the similarity that I found in the gauges of the v-rod muscle with those in some Porsche cars, another youtuber who loves everything Porsche, and everything Andreas Preuninger, pointed out that the headlight is actually a nod to a certain Porsche car as well. I highly recommend the video: kzread.info/dash/bejne/qaJmp9V8kc6ZetI.html I would replace it too for performance, but maybe hold on to the OEM just in case the bike is more valuable with it in the future once it's a classic. Write so on the box so whoever inherits it after you knows what it is. 😀

Wow, that definitely makes sense! I see the similarity now...someone needs to come out with an updated Porsche style headlight for the vrod. That’d look incredible 🔥
