    Milk Floats are electric because vibrations from an internal combustion engine would churn the milk.

    @Lacey Cook It might make sense now, but 50 or 60 years ago things different. You have to take into account infrastructure and economics.

    20 grand! Just shows how far EV tech has come along, I'm guessing you could probably do a full tesla drivetrain swap for the same amount these days. You'd go quicker than 44mph too lol

    How long ago was this? Todays batteries such as Tesla cells and motor would be more than capable of beating that speed.

    why don't they took a battery (and chassis) from already existing EV like tesla etc, take the body off and swap the floating milk body onto it? minimal effort, proven faster, safer, easier, and of course, longer range
