the guy replanting natives is using his head, very clever !
so, why not plant the wild yams ? there's no shortage of land there, and really, no shortage of diverse food crops they could grow, he's subsisting on corn and rice, a very labor intensive crop to grow ! he needs educating not a sack of beans...and water catchment projects for irrigation in the dry season...
