Hey mate awesome video. Finally a diy of the vb coilover in aus. Just a question were the coil era already preloaded and height set or did you do all that?

Thanks so much! The preload for these was set and the height was also set but it's def worth checking before putting into the car. I was half expecting to have to mess with the height but it came pretty spot on from BC.

Are you planning to add Front Brace Bar and what color would you choose?.

I am actually! Thinking of white or red, but depending on how the new wheels (in transit) will look I'm still undecided if I should go with raw steel and get it powder-coated the same colour. Will do an install video on that once it comes as well!

Hey just got mine is that the lowest setting? And did you do a wheel alignment?

Hey I kept at the height they came because it's a good height when the exhaust was hanging down - have a episode on that coming in a bit. Can go lower but. I haven't done a wheel alignment as yet but it needs one once it's where you like it

Thanks for the video. I was wandering how is the ride quality. The OEM is pretty hard and bouncy, I was wondering if this improved it or if it stayed the same.

Hard and bouncy? Isn't it either one or the other? Personally I find the stock suspension quite firm, not bouncy. Could always be improved though.

With the dampening adjustment I was able to get it exactly where I wanted. The softer you go with the adjustment the less bounce (rebound) but more roll and pitch there is so there will be a bit of suspension tuning to get it to where you like. If I was going to go super soft in adjustment I would upgrade the sway bar to account for roll and/or do a roll centre adjustment control arm bushing to lower the roll centre - which I'll probably do both anyways.
