How Early Harvest Extra Virgin Olive Oil Is Produced | Agourelaion | Ken's Greek Table
In this video I take you behind the scenes and show you step-by-step how early harvest extra virgin olive oil is produced. Also known as agourelaio(n), this early season olive oil features a more robust flavour, lower oleic acidity which causes that little tickle in the back of the throat and a vibrant green colour. Try it today, love it forever...
Hope you all love it!!!!!
Cheers,
Ken

I’m now a lot wiser thank you
I love how simplistic the olive oil processing is, so natural. Just ordered a bottle and I always taste a shot glass of every bottle I buy. Almost all grocery store evoo is fake. Thanks Ken for sharing.
This is GREAT. Thank you.
FIRST!!!! ELLA RE KEN
Hi Ken, I live in Cyprus and most of my family and friends have some olive trees. Every year we pick the olives and take to the local press mill and we put the oil into “posh” bottles for gifts to usually my “foreign” family and friends, the rest of us in my husbands (Greek Cypriot) family, we decant it into old (sterilised) plastic milk containers or plastic bottles etc lol. The best part of the process is the parties and picnics we have after the picking off the olives.
Thank you
Greetings from Houston, Ken! Just ordered a couple of bottles from your store after watching your video. Pylos, Mycenae, Epidaurus, Tirynth --- aaaaah! No words...
Hi Ken, what a fabulous clip. Learnt something new and thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful way you explained the process... better than the discovery channel or any school excursion. You are so multi talented👏👏👏

Thanks for sharing this, Ken. Amazing process. At the end where you show the olive oil flowing into the stainless steel tank, what is the residue on the surface of the olive oil?
