In 2013, with the support of the Government of the Netherlands, the Government of Vietnam presented the Mekong Delta Plan. Since then, the Vietnamese government has taken important steps towards a sustainable and climate-resilient future. Via the Partners for Water 2016-2021 programme, the Netherlands and Vietnam have been working on planning, policy advice and pilot projects.
